I was really surprised the day that he came to visit me at my hospital bed after my fight with Ichigo. I thought for sure that he would hate me due to our battle. I remember he had this thoughtful face, and he was going to say something. But of course that baka substitute shinigami interrupted him, no doubt I almost jumped out of my skin as well. But, as soon as I put aside the rude entrance, ever since that day, I can't stop to thinking about that day. What was he going to say to me, why didn't he hate me, and ever since then, he treated me with so much respect? This heart of mine weights dearly on me now that I know how to use it.
