Hey you.
Welcome to the story of my life ♥
Yep.
I'm back again haha, it's been like... what, a little over a year?
no clue how long i'm back for this time around (just like last time D; ) but while i'm here i'll be sure to throw cupcakes and sugar and whatnot at as many of you as possible
x
also, my drawing skills have gotten so much worse since i haven't actually drawn anything since 2009 Q___Q BUT, i'll still post random stuff up for your amusement
love youu all

i know i haven't been around for the past while );
but i just thought i'd drop a post to say that i'm stil here and i'll update again whenever i get my drawing skills back haha.
it's kinda hard to explain, everytime i doodle or try to draw something now it doesn't turn out the way i want it to and so i end up scrapping it.
university is right around the corner and as much as i'm stoked to go, i'm also really nervous ): hope it'll be good.
nothing new has happened with me, i was in England last week for 6 days. It's a really nice place there. Everything has a nice home-y feel and the architecture is gorgeous.
Hope you're all doing well-- i'll be around every now and then haha
cheeeeeeerssss

Hey guys :D
I just got back from Japan a few days ago haha, still recovering from jet lag. I've been out a lot reconnecting with friends too, so that's not really helping my sleeping situation any but it's all good.
Japan... mmm the only thing i can say about it is that: it is definitely the most awesome place i've ever travelled to so far. The people were so nice and polite, the streets were so clean and everything was just really... convenient. there were also vending machines everywhere haha. Although i didn't see any crazy ones, it was impossible to ever get thirsty during a walk outside because there were vending machines every 50m or so. crazy stuff.
I was in Kansai, Osaka. And the humidity there was really intense. the temperature was already a constant 27-34 degrees, and the humidity was usually around 20%... sometimes going as high as 40%. Showering twice a day was a must haha, yeah.. that wasn't very pleasant. Otherwise though, i can't see anything else that was bad.
The scenery in Japan is really nice, you could always see mountains somewhere in the distance. And being an island country, I was able to go to the beach fairly often with my friends. I miss that so much D; i love the ocean haha
Soo yeah :D sorry for not updating or anything at all for the past 2 weeks, but i'm back now for a while and i'll be able to spazz on your stuff again kekekekeke.

i missed you guysss
Hey guys :D
Today, i had my last exam....ever !! :D Well, for high school anyways haha. wooo i'm finally done~ Commencement is next thursday and after i cross that stage, I'll be an... alumni O; it's kinda scary when i think about it that way.
Seriously, the past 4 years went by so fast. I remember getting lost in the school and walking into the wrong classrooms haha and now..? I'll never have to go back to that place again.
But i loved my high school though, it was an arts one and everyone there was always really hyper and upbeat. I especially liked how there weren't any cliques or stupid "stereotypical" high school things like that. Everyone was really accepting of each other. My favourite memories of my high shcool are that of Hallowe'en haha, where if you DIDN'T dress up you'd be the odd one out. Spirit days were pretty interesting too. We had some pretty crazy ones over the past 4 years... hmmm the ones that really stood out for me though were :
-Ugly sweater day
-90's cartoon day
-Twin day
-Code red [where you dressed up in costumes like fire fighters, police, nurses/doctors...etc]
and so many more...
oh man i'm going to miss that place.
but not enough to do another year eh heh
University this sept~~ wooo :D
i'm really looking forward to it.. but i'm sure by the time i get there i'll be craving high school all over again haha
On the art note, to be honest i haven't been drawing much at all :X i don't know why but everything that i sketch looks bad to me. Maybe it's just a phase? i really hope so. Fortunately, it's summer. no school = more time to doodle and practice. Hope i'll get over this block soooon i really want to post up some new stuff :)
That's all for now,
thanks for reading :D

Listening to: Last Farewell by Big Bang
Latest Addiction: Korean BBQ O; [it's sooo yummy no joke haha, especially if you get to grill it yourself!]
to start-- i'm sorry if i randomly spazz in caps lock haha i'm so excited it's not even funny.
Ok, so a few months ago at my Japanese class, the teacher told us about this 'educational contest' of sorts hosted by the Japan Foundation. They pick TWO PEOPLE FROM CANADA. it's a 2 week long trip, all expenses paid minus personal spendings. That means 3 meals a day, lodging, events, schooling...etc.
To apply, there's several things you have to do first you have to write a short essay on why you think the trip will be a good experience for you. Essays are submitted and one from every SCHOOL BOARD is chosen. You also have to be at a certain level with your Japanese and can't have visited there for longer than a certain amount of time...etc. bunch of reqs.
Against all odds, i got chosen to represent our school board-- and i was shocked out of my mind btw. i have no idea how many other people applied.
Next, you fill out a bunch of forms.. medical and personal stuff. Everything is sent to the headquarters in Toronto which is then forwarded to the main branch in Osaka, Japan.
Now, i couldn't get an earlier doctor's appointment so i was super worried that they would disqualify me... the medical stuff was due May 18th, but my doctor's appointment was on the 25th.
OK, skip ahead. i get my form all done BUT for some reason i don't actually mail it until Sun, May31st. why? i really don't know.
My correspondent tells me that she'll let me know of the final decision when it's made. i sit and wait and eventually forget about it because school work is overly stressful.
TODAY. i received the e-mail saying that i have been selected by the people from Japan to participate in this Japanese-Language Programme for High School Students 2009 [long name eh?] AND I'LL BE GOING TO OSAKA, JAPAN FROM JULY1ST TO JULY15TH. OHHHHHHMGGGGGG
I'M SO EXCITED AND FREAKING OUT AND SMILING AND -passes out-
that's pretty much all i wanted to say x]
I'm just really happy because the odds were so slim i had no idea i was going to even stand a chance. I wonder who the other person from Canada will be? Can't wait to go :DD
July 1st :DD JAPANNNN ♥♥
sorry if that was more boring than usual haha. i just had to say it.
