It was never meant to be that way,
We could all go back if time allows us.
The signs were there,
But my ignorance blinded me.
It's a wonder to see how short was death,
When we struggled to live our life everyday.
Death is suffering's best friend,
Contagious and kills slowly.
If I could turn back the time,
I would make it stop.
And change this sadness and awkwardness,
To gladness that we're never apart.
If I could make a contract with Him,
I shared half of my life with you,
To postpone your departure,
Such silly thought of a guilty witness.
I hope this poem will reach your heart,
And see that life is fragile,
Don't take anything for granted,
Because when it's gone, it's for ever.
