today was the best day in the whole vacation!!! i went to grandfather mountian!!! on the way there we past waterfalls and went thru clouds and we saw a deer. when we started climbing grandfather mountian we had to go on winding roads like you would never beleive. at the top we were in a cloud. you couldnt see the veiw. while we waited for it to clear we went over the mile high swinging bridge. it was about 60 feet down but the bridge is 5,280 feet above see level. we got to the other side and i climbed on some rocks we didnt wall on a side walk on the other side we were on solid rock! there were no rails. there was a ledge you are in control of if you go off or not. -.- i got within 5 feet of the edge. i post pictures at myspace theres tomany for posting on here. anyway i picked some wild blueberrys and we headed down the mountian. dad drove but i took a hiking trail down to the nature museum and small zoo. i saw a giant tumer in the side of a tree that was like bigger then a bath tub. 0_O
i saw 5 black bears, 3 white tailed deer, 1 balled eagle, 1 gold eagle, 3 otters.......and some wild chimmunks and hawks at the zoo. on the way back we stopped at a small waterfall. not much it was just a small stream coming down some rocks. i got home and we ate at a 2 story wendys. this is were it got weird. while my dad was getting my chicken a truck pulled up to the light outside(traffic light) and his girl friend laid her head in his lap and it looked like she was....-.- he glanced up and saw a wide eyed me and he busted out laughing. i think he hit her head on the steiring wheel XD LOL!!! served her right. LOL!!!
well anyway we got my mom and we went looking for a waterfall caleld cascade falls. it was like 120 foot waterfall. we hiked for 20 minutes following the sound of rushing water. we went over a crik and followed it down a hill of rock and log steps to a rock wall where it was a almost vertical drop. it was so cool. REMEMBER IF YOU WANT TO SEE PICS GO TO MYSPACE. give me a couple days tomarrow we leave for home. so my summer is over........goin back to school soon. probably jump off a cliff before hand. XD
