I got volume 2 of RE:Play last Monday, I was so excited. I've read it about three times. I reread the first volume a couple of times, too. Lijewski is my hero. From the time I first saw the page for RE:Play on the old Tokyopop website back with their first wave of OEL manga, I've been in love with her art. I'm always so captivated by her style, it's kind of sad.
In the back of volume 2, in all the extras (there's a crapload, I love it), there's a section on songs that she feels fits the characters in personality or situation, and all four main characters have a song by Ellegarden. She says in her explaination that Ellegarden is her favorite band. Now, I don't know jack about Japanese music, but my curiosity got the better of me and I looked up all the songs on the list (or attempted to, couldn't find some of them). I'm now hooked on Ellegarden. I ordered their new cd off bestbuy.com today, because it's cheaper than buying it from the store. The catch is that I have to wait a week for it to get here! If I had decided to buy it from the store, I would have gotten it yesterday T_T
The earliest it can get here is Friday, but that's the first day of spring break, which is also the first day of the dance convention I'm going to with my studio. I'll be gone for three days. At least all the classes at the convention will keep my mind off of waiting if it doesn't come on Friday. I just hope it'll be waiting for me when I get back. I definately want it to come before Tuesday of the following week because that's when we're making another trip to Grand Rapids to register for fall classes for college. I want to be able to listen to it on the way.
