I stared up at the building, wondering if I should go inside or not. “Well, what are you waiting for?” Toron growled, obviously mad because I had dragged him out here when he’d rather be at home sleeping. Though I knew he’d never admit it, he was just as curious as I was.
“Alright! I’m going!” I stuck my tongue out at him and walked into the headquarters. I quickly asked where the bond-keepers were supposed to meet, and they directed me to a room further up.
Toron yawned as I went to open the door, “How long is this going to take anyway?” He scratched behind his ear as he looked up at me with a bored expression.
“It’ll take as long as it takes,” I told him, starting to get annoyed.
“Fine, but if it takes longer than an hour, I’m leaving you here,” he stretched, taking a look around. He was never really comfortable indoors, other than at my house.
I chuckled, “You’re just scared.”
“Scared? Ha!” he growled, baring his fangs.
I shook my head, “Just a scared little puppy.” I knew I was really starting to get on his nerves, but I just couldn’t stop myself.
“I’m a fox you stupid girl,” he snapped, loud enough that the whole floor probably heard us. From there we started yelling random things at the other, trying to see who would snap first.
