In these dark halls...
We sat, cradling.
Fear was struck.
Palms began to sweat.
Hearts raced.
Minds became scattered.
Anxiety took us all...
Tears fell.
Prayers were sent.
The alarms went off.
Color was drained from our shaken forms.
Our voices trying to be heard-cut off by our guardian angels.
What they didn't know...
It was the silence killing us all...
This came to me while we were sitting in the halls waiting for a tornadoe to pass us.
