Her Empty Shell

She is empty; like a shell. She roams this earth. So filled with light, so filled with people.

She looks for some one to go to. She looks for some since of security. She looks for a void.

But they're all just as empty as she is.

She decides that places are cold, and that people are filling. One by one, hearts fly by.

Each heart taking a piece of her hallow shell with her, wether they realize it or not.

What love was real? What was just faked sex?

She decided that faces were cold, and that places were painful boxes holding memoires.

Oblivious to the world she can make, she roams looking for something new. Hoping it wont hurt.

She doesn't realize that it only hurt because she was happy at that time.

She places her hand on the things that she once loved, and it incenirates before her eyes.

That night, she found herself walking through her streets of boredom.

Streets of Apathay.
Streets of Sarrow.
Streets of Pain.
Streets of Misery.

A car was swerving, as if there were no driver. But there was, and her name was fate. She caught a glimpse of the licence plate: "APIPHANY"

She awoke in the next life, and said to herself and her children:

"You are only as happy as you set your mind to be."
