The pool looked great,lights hung in the trees,glow sticks in the water,disco lights shined everywhere.The thing that caught my eye was the stage.Right now the only music playing was So what by Pink.I smiled,Carlos was dancing with a girl that only could've been Brittany.The lights flashed as he song ended and The Edge of Desire came on.I glanced over at Logan who smiled."Wanna dance?"I nodded."Sure."I glanced over at Kendall,who nodded but looked dissapointed.We started slow-dancing,his hands on my hips and my arms strapped around his neck."Marvie,I love you."He said,his brown eyes studying mine."I love you too."I said.He smiled.There it was,at that moment our lips met for the first time.Sparks flew,butterflies swarmed,and a burst of passion was felt between us.He pulled away and smiled.I smiled back.I looked over at the entrance."I'll be right back."I said,slipping out of his arms and running up to the apartment.I caught my breath in the den and went to Kendall's room.I knocked on the door close to tears,I knew I'd broken his heart."Kendall,please just open up."The door opened and his face was red like he had been crying."Why are you here?" "To apoligize.."He sighed."Your my bestfriend,Kendall.I've realized that.But I've also realized that I'm in love with Logan.."He sighed."Marvie,I'm in love with you.I need you to love me back."Him saying that felt like a punch in the gut,I told him how I felt but he didn't understand."Kendall,I love you as a friend or a brother even..not a boyfriend." "You can't tell me you don't feel anything for me,Marvs."I looked down,feeling bad.I knew I loved him but I loved Logan more.Silent tears fell from my eyes. "I'm sorry Kendall..but I'm not,I'm in love with Logan,not you..."He seemed fustrated."I know you love me!Why can't you realize it?"He almost yelled.At this point I started crying again."Because I don't!"I stormed out of the room,slamming the door and went into my room.As,I locked it I heard knocking on the door."I'm sorry Marvie."I just cried more."Go away!"I heard the door of the apartment open."Marvie?"I heard Logan's voice.He came up beside Kendall."Why is she crying?What happened?"He knocked on my door."Marvs,It's me,Logan."I heard Kendall go into his room and slammed the door.I opened my door as Logan took me into his arms."What happened?"He asked.I didn't want to tell him,but how else could I explain this?He held me close to him,his shirt covered in my tears and make up."Shhh,it's okay.Tell me what happened.."I calmed down and stopped crying."Kendall is..is in love with me.."There was a moment of silence.Logan got up."I'll be right back." "Logan don't!"I was too late he was out of the door and in Kendall's room.
