We spent most of the day today touring Team Galactic's base in Veilstone. Cyrus wasn't there, so I missed out on talking to him--perhaps at the Eterna base? Also, two of Mars's fellow commanders weren't there, though we did meet one--Charon, who strikes me as incredibly creepy. Very incredibly creepy. Like, "take one more step towards my cousin and I will murder you" creepy. Mars doesn't like him either.
Went out for dinner again. I paid for Mars of course and attempted to pay for Archie, but then he had a hissy fit and we got into a big argument and of course Mars got involved and switched sides twenty times, and eventually Archie ended up paying for himself. Stupid Wailord -_-
One more day in Veilstone, then we're off to explore the rest of Sinnoh!

Well, it was Mars's birthday today, and thankfully I was well enough to celebrate. She loved the necklace I got her and wore it all throughout the day. In the morning she took us on a tour of Veilstone, though we didn't spend much time at any place in particular. Then we went home and recuperated for a little bit, then went out to dinner.
During the recuperation period, someone showed up at Mars's door. She went to answer it while we were in the living room and came back with a rather elaborate bouquet of flowers. When asked who it was, she simply blushed and said, "A friend." My interest is piqued.
Anyway, dinner. We went to this restaurant called The Skarmory's Roost. It was fancier than the name sounded. The food was very good, and I would definitely recommend it. I paid for the dinner, of course despite Archie's protests. All in all, I think Mars enjoyed her birthday.
We'll probably be touring the Galactic Building in Veilstone tomorrow. Something to look forward to, I guess.
...BUT SERIOUSLY, WHO GAVE MY COUSIN THOSE FLOWERS?! (protective cousin mode)

Well, I slept on and off the entire day yesterday, and for part of today, and now I'm feeling better. Mostly better. I'm still chilly and achy, but it's weak enough that I can deal with it. We haven't done anything since we arrived and I'm ready to actually start this vacation.
Tomorrow is Mars's birthday, so I'm assuming we'll be going out to eat. I have her present wrapped and everything. It's actually very exciting; I don't remember the last time I actually got to spend her birthday with her in person.
Mars promised to take us on a tour of the Veilstone Galactic Building, though I'm assuming that won't be tomorrow. I'm very interested to see how Team Galactic runs--assuming I actually get to meet with Cyrus, that is. I only recall meeting him once before, and we didn't really talk. I wonder if Mars has informed him of our relationship...I wonder how he'll view me if he does know...oh well. I'd also like to meet Mars's fellow commanders, though she did say only one worked in Veilstone and the other two were usually in Eterna. I'm assuming she'll take us into Eterna's Galactic Building as well. Imagine that, two hideouts. Though then again, I'm sure my volcano has as much if not more space than both their buildings combined.
Getting a little tired...I'm planning on sleeping early to make sure I'm totally better for tomorrow.
