Well, Archie has said he would take Herbert off my hands, which is good, but the admins don't seem to be too into that idea, which is bad. I would just give Herbert to Tabitha to take care of, but I feel like that might kill Herbert. And Courtney has still been acting weird lately. I'm not sure what's wrong, but I get the feeling it's some girl thing I don't understand. It always seems to be with her. Actually, it always seems to be with all girls. What is wrong with girls?
Speaking of girls, I called Mars tonight, and she didn't sound right either. I think she was upset, but she said she had to go pretty early in the conversation, so I didn't get to find out what was wrong. Some cousin I am. So many girl problems...Aren't gay guys supposed to be good with girl problems? MYTH. MYTH.

Well, Archie STILL hasn't responded, because he's a JERK. Or maybe he's got something important going on, but knowing him that's probably not very likely.
Herbert seems to be enjoying himself in my bathtub, though. He seemed very aggravated with me when I took him out so that I could take a shower. I'm not sure how much longer we can do this. Maybe I should make a makeshift tub for him so that there's somewhere to put him when the bathroom is in use...I'm still not sure why Roark sent me him...
I'm starting to get the feeling that this turtle is staying, and I feel like that's not a good thing.

((I obviously have not yet gotten back into the "every night" habit. I remembered as I lay in bed at one o'clock last night, and my roommate was trying to sleep so I couldn't post anyway. My Mew, I'm bad at this. Another "pretend this was yesterday" I guess....))

Well, I tried getting in touch with Archie about the Tirtouga today, but to no avail. I tried his cell and his home, but got voicemails for both, so I decided to do something I immediately regretted: call Team Aqua base. Who picks up but Shelly, of course, so now I'm being yelled at over the phone by some pink-haired NUTJOB and I had no idea what to do. Somehow I got the message that Archie wasn't able to talk to me, but I didn't know why, and Shelly just KEPT. YELLING. Eventually I just handed the phone off to Tabitha and told him to deal with it. He didn't look too scarred for life afterwards, so I think I made the right decision.
Courtney and Tabitha have gotten a hold of the Tirtouga and have started calling him Herbert. I keep telling them it sounds too much like Hektor, the name of Mars's Archen, but I'm being ignored, as usual. I guess Herbert it is. I'm sure that if Archie doesn't want him those two will jump right on it, but I think they're missing the point that he's not going to do all that well in a volcano. I've been keeping him in my room and putting him in the bathtub every couple of hours to keep him cool. I don't think I can keep doing this forever though...I guess I'll try Archie again tomorrow, assuming the admins can let go of this turtle.

Well, I revived my fossil today. And you know what it was? A Tirtouga!
What the hell was Roark thinking?! I bet you anything he knew he was giving me a Water Type fossil. He knew and was just trying to mess with me like the jerk he is sometimes. So now I have a Water Type, yay.
Now, I have nothing against this Tirtouga itself. He's actually a rather cute little turtle Pokemon. But I don't think I can keep him! I live in a VOLCANO, for Mew's sake! The poor thing isn't going to be very comfortable here, is he?! Sometimes I wish Roark would think about things before he does them.
I'll see if Archie wants him, that sounds like a plan. And if he doesn't I'll have him ask his admins or his grunts or something. I'm sure he'd be more at home with them. I also am wondering if I should name him or not. Decisions, decisions....

I stayed up rather late last night talking first to the admins and then to Mars on the phone, so I wasn't able to type this until now. Apologies.
But anyway, lunch was alright. No one was killed, and with Tabitha around that's an accomplishment. I was really expecting something to go wrong, but somehow everything was fine. Courtney was acting weird, though. She's actually been acting strange for a while now...I'm getting sort of worried. I hope she's not getting sick!
Well, today I plan to go get this fossil revived and see what happens with that. I'll update tonight!
