~Maxie~
Well, Mars left from Slateport this morning. It really was a shame to see her go. I'm going to miss her; hopefully we can see each other sooner than last time. I had a fairly fun time this past week, barring a few incidents...
Speaking of incidents, actually...
I ran into a certain Wailord as I was attempting to leave Slateport...Of course, he started up a conversation that soon became an argument, and then he, being an ignorant jackass, called me some unsavory names. So I did what any right-minded person would do: I smacked him across the face. Twice.
I felt quite proud of myself, too, until he punched me in the face back....
Stupid jerk Wailord...You know, it hurt at the time, sure, but then I got home and looked in the mirror, and, wouldn't you know it, I have a shiner the size of a Pokeball. Just lovely. Already I've gotten questions and snickers from a few of the grunts (and Tabitha, that ass). I guess I'll need to wear sunglasses around...indoors...and in the rain...and at night...
Well, the moral of this story is don't go to Slateport. Wait, that's not right. The moral is to duck. That's not right either...Actually, I'm not completely sure what the moral is. But I've been having this weird feeling in my stomach since I got home, so I think I need to learn the moral fast...Well....
I'm going to beat myself up later for saying this, but...I'm sorry, Archie, for smacking you in the face, even if you did deserve it. And for not accepting your apology either. I shouldn't have been such an idiot...
...Nah that weird feeling in my stomach's still there. So much for that. (goes back and scribbles out last paragraph)
