Okay! So I've been writing. Quite a bit. I mean, I haven't finished chapter 4 of ESM yet, but I've been chipping away at it. And thanks to my crazy beta and our other crazy friend, the original chapter 4 has become chapters 4 and 5, and chapter 5 may or may not be gratuitous sex for the sake of later angst, and hurt, and shame, and guilt, and plot devices... right.
Okay, yeah, it totally is. Oops? Oh well. The best character is a broken one, right?
My outline for ESM is currently sitting at 7,121 words, 8 pages, in size 8 Verdana. Chapter 4 is sitting at 1,453 words, and chapter 5 is sitting at 3,186. And chapter 9 is apparently 3,506 words and 7 pages long. When the fuck did that happen? I don't know. I've already got that chapter split into chapters 9 and 10, simply because it's going to be EPIC. I don't want to skimp on perhaps the most important part of Charon's backstory.
ESM has gained quite a number of chapters in the past week or so. I've added a chapter for Kate's backstory and split two other chapters that were looking to be lengthy. I'm trying to be semi-consistent in chapter lengths, hence my preference to splitting the longer ones.
I will, more than likely, be writing all weekend. And playing Resident Evil 5. And beta'ing for someone. Actually, I should probably do that first thing after school tomorrow.
But now, bed!
