Its raining!

Well, Hi everyone! it's been raining where I live nonstop for a good two days now, I am actually pretty happy about it. I feel like Im back in NY or Pennslyvania again, it used to rain there all the time. It kinda makes me miss the snow, I haven't seen snow in almost 6 years! Anyways, I just started the second semester of my junior year in high school and its actually going good! I go to online school but we have live chat rooms with our teachers and other students a few times a week. It's kinda nice to be able to set my own school scedule, but like regular school, I have a ton of work too.
I,ve been a little stressed over school lately, but things are finally working out and my grades are decent. I haven't be working on alot of art lately, but I think Ill start trying to draw some anime characters for a change, hopefully I will be posting them soon. I just started reading fruits basket and began reading Death Note again, I stopped reading it because I had started rereading Stephenie Meyer's book The Host (which in my opinion is almost better than the Twilight series). So, anyways, heres the pic of the (insert time span here)..lol (Its a crappy 20 minute sketch I made of a violin)

Art Class

Hello all! It is finally the end of a long art-classless semester, and I for the first time since I started my junior year of high school I am in art class! Last year was the only year sinces preschool that I was not enrolled in some form of art class, so I am extremely happy that I have art class this semester. Also, tommorow is my 17th birthday! Anyways, I've been working on some art that I'll probally post in a few days or so, I finally found my box of good color pencils so hopefully that will help a little with making my semi-disaterous coloring skills look a little nicer. Here is the pic of the day/week/month it is a picture my freind took while she was at a hot-air ballooning festival in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Hi Everyone! sorry I haven't been posting anything, I've been really super busy Well, anyways, I just relized that though probally not alot of people read these, those who do are probally wondering who I am and why some random girl like me decide to make a random club about cake, anime, and my semi-boring life. So I'm going to tell ya'all some stuff about me. I'm 16 (almost 17) and live in Southern CA, my dream job is to be a police sketch artist and I've been in art classes since 1st grade. I am a big fan of Fullmetal Alchemist, Bleach, InuYasha, and a bunch of other anime and manga. I am also a Twilight fan (specifically a Jacob fan). I love to read, write, and draw. I am currently a Yellow Belt in Shoulin Kempo (soon to be an orange belt). I was born in upstate NY, and lived in Pennslyvania for a few years before moving to California, then to Utah, then back to California.I am a country girl at heart and I do listen to country music (though I listen to alot of other music aswell). I draw alot of realism so its kinda hard for me to draw anime and I don't post alot of my work because of that. Anyways, enough of my rambling, heres the pic of the day (oh, and before I forget im gonna try to post something here every week or so now that I'm a little less busy with school and such). I drew the picture below its not really anime or anything but I figured I put it here so ya'all can see it.
