Personality: Makoto is a shy, quiet person, but opens up a little to those close to him. He doesn't make friends easily, and was often teased and made fun of during his childhood. His family doesn't view him as good enough for them, and he often feels lonely. He is very smart, graduating as one of the brightest students at both his high school and college
Appearance: He usually wears grey sweatpants and a white T-shirt when roaming around his apartment, and when he goes out, Makoto dresses to blend in. However, his favorite accessory is a black collar with changeable charms, something he is rarely seen without.

History: During his senior year of high school, Okada was admitted to an insane asylum after committing the murder of Miss Trina Baskovych during a Biology class. A psychiatric evaluation revealed multiple personalities, some of whom were a danger to society. His doctors insisted that these personalities would disappear after proper rehabilitation and psychiatric treatment, but Okada knew differently. After a year, Okada was deemed "cured" and released from the asylum. However, it was only an act on his part, a complicated lie in order to escape from the prison that the asylum was becoming. He was and is still able to control his personalities to a certain degree, and sometimes accidentally speaks out loud when he talks to them in his head. Regarding the nature of his disorder, Okada has six separate personalities, each with the distinct symptoms of a psychiatric disorder. Dario, who exhibits signs of psychopathy, seems to be the most dangerous, along with Demetrius, who shows signs of sadistic personality disorder. The other four—Kyle, Charles, Beau, and Mortimer—show signs of varying disorders but do not seem to be an immediate threat to the world at large. Still, Dario and Demetrius are ever-present in his everyday life, as they have been ever since he left the asylum. At the behest of Dario's constant urging, Makoto killed over and over, sometimes awaking with no recollection of the event, save for what Dario told him. Other times, it was Demetrius who took over, his penchant for torture leaving Makoto to awaken drenched in blood that wasn't his own. Makoto learned to accept these parts of himself, however, and embraced his darker sides rather than fear them.
