As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to display The Thinker sitting with and forever thinking of Hana Isuzu in a classroom setting.
I thought I'd liven up my blog a tad with some K-On!, so here ya go:
"Curry Nochi Rice" by Ho-Kago Tea Time
Say what you want about the anime, but some of the music in it is pure power-pop goodness. I mean, this is the perfect power-pop song, especially the vocal melodies during the bridge. And to top it off, the keyboard just sticks in your head. I liked this song so much I even learned it on guitar, haha. (While finding this on YouTube, it seemed many others also learned it.)
Also, Ritsu saying "one, two, one two three four!"
As I type this, it's less than 15 minutes away from being September. And that makes me realize that I've still not really started on any art so far. I should do something about that...soon...before the year ends.
I have ideas, of course, but I've not sketched out anything. If I feel ambitious enough, I kind of want to draw Evermillion from Witch Craft Works, but that would take time (she's such a great looking character, though). At the same time, I also want to take another path from what I've been doing with my past submissions, which became more and more elaborate. I'd like to do something more muted and, perhaps, sparse. The good thing about the latter style is that it shouldn't take so damn long to paint, unlike my other pieces (but Nico Nico Niiiiii~ deserved every painstaking minute/hour/day/week/month, haha).
In any case, I'd better settle on something fairly soon, so I can make my yearly quota - viz. one picture per-year. (What happened to those good ol' days when I could make 1 pic per week? Sigh.)
Also, it's about time theO started up its Twitter account. I'm interested to see how it'll be run, since I do spend some time over there.
Okay, I've seen the future of metal, and it's - idols.
I literally heard this group, BABYMETAL, today, and it has to be one of the nuttiest musical concepts I've come across...and that alone makes it pretty awesome.
I imagine if μ from Love Live! actually made music in their KISS uniforms, it'd probably sound something like this, haha.
