Okay, so keeping up with 5 currently airing anime is a tad more difficult that I thought it'd be. I'm still behind an ep. on at least 2 of 'em. Of course, it doesn't help that I'm actually watching 6 shows: I'm also watching Clannad. (Or, Another Chapter in Where People Live, Suffer, Die.) It'd be awesome if I could get Kyle Hebert to say the following line in his DBZ narration voice: "Next time on Clannad, EVERYONE COULDN'T STOP CRYING!"
Now for some quick numerical reviews before the shows wrap up. The numbers could change, given that none have ended, and some could very well improve even more - or take up residence in Stinkville.
Jormungand - 7.5 of 10
Haiyore! Nyaruko-san - 7 of 10
Hyouka - 7 of 10
Tsuritama - 7 of 10
Medaka Box - 6.5 of 10
Of those, I'm enjoying Tsuritama more and more as it progresses. The first episode wasn't anything special, but it gradually improved with each ep. (Kinda like how I felt about Ano Natsu de Matteru last season. It just got better as it went on.) Hyouka, however, really had to struggle in my book to reach that score of 7. At first, it was hovering somewhere around 6: "Man is this show slow". Still, the reserved tempo grew on me. Last of all, Medaka Box somehow improved a tad, which I originally ranked around 5. The only reason it climbed up to 6.5 is how interesting Medaka Kurokami's character became: pure, freak, of, nature. (And I mean that in a good way.)
