Don't take my ideas tho kay kay :)

The Star harvest: You’re my best friend

"Many have not been told that birth into a physical world is a death in the spiritual worlds from which they came. Hence most are never aware that death in the physical world is merely a birth into other dimensions of life." - Jesse Holmes

I don’t remember what time it is, but I know the month at least. I look over to my worn-out calendar in my little one room hut. The year says 2002 but, it looks years older. Has it really been so long since I was reborn? I’m sure many people think I’m a foolish child for choosing this calendar to be one reminder of my past life. I sighed at stared out my only window; my memories were taking me back to my moment of birth.

I once again found myself unconsciously drifting in nothingness. I didn’t know that I have died, but I did. So I was told by voices coming from the only point of light. It told me that I have left behind my life on earth for I have departed from my world and was about to be reborn in another.

“Are you day dreaming?”

I looked behind me to find my personal escort. She would be consider appealing to any stranger walking past, but to me she was more then that. She was the first person I meet when I was reborn to this realm. My feeling to be with her is like a duckling to its mother.
The only problem was she looked my age. I can’t say she is truly my age, because you don’t age here like you normally found on earth. Here you stay the same image as when you were born, that can range from childhood to the golden years. You only know your contemporary death will happen when your number is called.

“You shouldn’t think of unpleasant things if you want to be happy. I came to show you the beginning of the star harvest.” She stated in her distant voice. I moaned and followed her to the endless insanity waiting for me.
Outside was so spacious, this place focuses it’s lifestyles around plains in the sky. The only solid ground is about 3 miles below. It doesn’t bother me as it did; it was everyday life hopping from circular floating hill of grass to another. Normally we would wait until out patch gets close enough to another to get on, but today she was in a hurry. She whistled down a sky gondola asking to go to Peak Pastures. A large body of hovering soil considered a park and the highest elevated aero-ground around.

“I want your first of many harvests to be special. We will climb to the very top of Peck Pastures and then hope we get lucky.”
“What do you mean by that Carlee?”
She didn’t answer. She tends to space out as often as I do. Two scatter brain champions, searching for something yet nothing at all. I didn’t mind the quiet as much as the idea that, maybe, she’s thinking about leaving. I’m scared that she’ll leave me soon, because unlike me, she has reached a start of oblivion with her past life. She doesn’t need me. She can at any moment deicide to leave. I’m sure I don’t matter to her much as she does to me. I should just wait for my human feelings to die so I can be happy. I’m sure that’s why long term residents are so carefree.
We reached the middle grounds where the highest hill waiting. It was full of many lost souls like ours, waiting for the same miracle. I started walking to them but Carlee stopped me and pointed to the right of my direction. She wasn’t planning on sharing this harvest with the others. We climbed over dense greenery and fallen log to reach the extreme right side of the hovering park.
“I’m not complaining but why are we here? I feel lost. I think the harvest watching maybe better off on the hill with the others.” I tried to sound like I knew what I was talking about, but it was no brainer I wasn’t.

“I believe you’re right. Watching the harvest is better the closest you are, but that’s not want I’m settling for.” Carlee responded.
With that said I was quiet trying to figure out what else she could want. She lead me to the edge of the platform where a mammoth tree root has curved out from the dirt forming what looked like an expanded path. We mounted the root and followed it path until we were at the foot of a steep cliff. I realized that the greenery around the cliff was so deep and overgrown; it would be nearly in possible to reach this far without the use of Carlee’s secret path.
The cliff itself was perfect. It was high but nothing like the hill awhile ago. At its tip the green lush green hung over the edge forming a curve, which to my surprise was overlooking a vast ocean of sky.
“Remember when I told you how the aero- terrain stays afloat? It’s because they circle around the north and South Pole. That’s also why you don’t find any aero-terrain close to the center of the earth.” She said
“Yeah, I know, It stays afloat because the center magnet, but hey, can you please just tell me why we are here?” I was getting impatient

“I don’t see why not, the harvest will begin,” she it with a sly smile. It was rare to see her smile. They I felt like everyone on the planet at the same time, decide to hold their breath, It was so quiet. Then I looked up to see a grand sight. I saw some of the lowest star rods, the ones that can be seem under the clouds that hold them, loosen its grip on its stars. The string like root holding them had untied like shoes and the star fruit started to fall down to earth. It was raining silver stars by the thousands. I watched them coming out of the clouds going all the way down to the sub-zero zone under my feet. I saw one hit an aero-patch. The moment it hit, it started shinnying and then it burst into dust. It was like the sliver rain splashing crystal water.

“Hey kid, its great isn’t it.” Carlee had asked

“It’s awesome Carlee!”

“Everyone can enjoy it, but only a lucky few can catch a star. Did you know, if you are able to catch a star fruit before it ever touches the ground, it will not spoil into dust? With that in mind, look up my dear,” she said as she pulled a tree branch out of the way.

I looked up past the branch and up in the heavens was a star rod holding a single star fruit. I hurried up to my feet and positioned myself over the rod. Carlee and I focused upon the rod and the string as it slowing loosened the knot. The Silver Star fell down and down it came into my two open palms. I always see these stars, but I never pictured them so light and lovely.
“I want your new memory to have something great to remember,” Carlee said with something I never see enough, a smile.
“I want you know something else, you’re my best friend,” She once before turning to the endless sky and drift off. I now loved this star because I now know once again how it feels to have a real friend.
