..Before Destinee could answer back Cheryl rushed her inside and slammed the door. The young men had only barely reach it in time to see the dust trail left by the girls leading into the hut. The stopped in front of the garden gate. Exhausted they both fell to the grow panting and sweating. As they stared at the house the gate in front of them became unhinged and tipped over causing a small insignificant cloud of dust to scatter upon them.
How did this happen? The two friends asked themselves. Not even an hour ago they were having a normal day and now they were in front of some stranger’s house.
“Since we made it this far lets at least Try to get some food from these girls?” moaned Orrick from hungry and exhaustion.
The sun was at its peck high in the sky. The sunshine danced around Orrick and Ethan as if mocking them for the pitiful attend for food. They were drained from their long sprint across the forest. This was enough for Ethan to reach his boiling point.
“I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE!” his roared. “I’m tried, I’m hungry, and I’m thirsty and I’m going to go in there and demand food!”
“ok then I’ll be …right here supporting” mumbled Orrick right before he leaned back down on the dirt pathway with a loud thump.
Ethan walked to the door of the house, moving stealthily to avoid the fallen gate door. Knocking, he started to speck.
“um, hello my name is Ethan and that stack of potatoes over there is my friend Orrick. I wanted to --
“GO WAY !!” cried a voice inside the house.
“while if you give me a chance, I just wanted clear up the misunderstanding --”
“There isn’t any misunderstanding you solider scum! Now go away!!”
“HEY, wait a minute we ARENT SOLIDERS not anymore anyways! We just want from stinken food!” He wined.
He fell to his knees ready to beg if he had to and then the door opened. The smell of hot dust and mothballs filled his nostrils. He looked up to see a girl with pink hair and glasses looking down at him with a large amount of curiosity.
All she could say was “really?”
“yes really now could you please help us?” he beseeched
…Cheryl walks into the kitchen with a loaf of bread and some cold water for the staving guys. She down next to Destinee, embarrassed because this mishap was her fault.
“so if your not part the empire’s royal army then who the heck are you two? Cheryl asked without taking her eyes off the floor.
“now that you willing to listen, I’ll tell you. Ethan said in-between bites.
He grow serous and put down his drink. He gave a long sigh before he started to speck.
“We were once part of a foreign army far from here, I believe it to be west from here,”
“You mean east,” stated Orrick. Ethan throws his remaining piece of beard at his face.
“HEY, that’s a waste of food! Go on with your story I’ll take care of your bread.”
