Yeah, its kind of weird to the norm knowing how dangerous and disastrous hurricanes can be, but I really love being in them. I don't know why DON'T FUCKING JUDGE ME >n< I just enjoy them. Maybe because I've played in them growing up as a kid. Living near the Gulf of Mexico, I've had my fair share of tropical storms and hurricanes. ^^; And don't think just because I played in them growing up makes my parents neglectful and uncaring. They kept a watchful eye on me at all times and made sure that it was safe enough to even do. If there were tornados nearby I would be inside away from Windows and ready to take cover.
I have a few friends in Texas right now that are getting hit by Harvey, the category 4 that's currently in Texas. I do hope they're okay, buuuuuut at the same time I'm like super jealous. XD;;;;; I texted my friend's John and Patty to see they're doing okay which, reluctantly, they are. They're just getting a lot of rain mainly. No high winds or tornados, which means they're most likely at the hurricane's outer wall. You definitely do not want to be near the eye. The eye's wall is typically the worst spot you could be at with tornados, very high winds, lightning, literally the works of a hurricane. <3 Maybe I should just be a storm chaser. XD
But yeah. To everyone Texas, stay safe. And go play outside for me!! Jk, don't.
