I was in Political Science 101 last night. The topic was Plato's Symposium. Turns out the old philosophers were pretty cool. Their idea of a "symposium" was a three-night long drinking party (WooT)!! So, I got to thinking...what would happen if Otakuites had a Symposium (other than conventions--lol.)?? Then, it came to me...a vision of Otakuites sprawled around a room watching Death Note and Naruto and discussing pairings (ick) and whether Kira/Sasuke/Orichimaru/Ryuk/etc. were actually evil or not and whether character X loves character Y or not. Things would get pretty crazy, with all the Otakuites splashing caffinated drinks over each other's cosplay because they were too hyper to stay still...and the whole thing would end up being a crossover fic with an epic battle at the end, which of course, everyone would be happy to act out...sounds like fun, really...... XD
