--Emiri is getting impatient while waiting for her beloved to get done all that pesky paperwork...
It was nearing 12 AM and in the Squad Ten barracks, Emiri was starting to get sleepy. She always waited up for Toushirou. Even though he's told her time and time again that she didn't have to, she did. That's just because she loved him way too much to leave him in his office all alone and without any company. After wandering around the office aimlessly, she flopped down on the couch that was there.
"Toushirouuuu" she whined tiredly.
"I told you to go to bed." he said not looking up from his work. "I'll be there soon."
When she didn't feel his eyes on her, she rolled over and watched him intently, peering over the arm of the couch: he was like a robot. One paper after another was signed and then put into a new pile. His pace never slowed. She'd always ask him why he worked so hard. None of the other captains took their work this seriously, it was only him. She always said to herself when he was like this: "You're lucky you're cute, pal..."
The minutes rolled by and then soon enough another hour went. Just as she was about to open her mouth to say something more to him, the dull sound of a chair sliding against the floor reached her ears. She sat up quickly and looked at him. There was only one pile of papers on his desk which meant he had to be finished.
"Are you done?" she asked happily.
"Yeah." he said sighing in relief.
Toushirou pushed his chair in and walked out from behind the desk, stretching. When he relaxed he went over to the couch, but before he could sit down, Emiri jumped up and hugged him. He muffled a tiredlaugh and returned her hug.
"I bet you were longing for this weren't you?" he said into her ear.
She blushed and felt her face heat up, but she smiled.
"Yes. All day. You have no idea."
"Come on then. I won't make you wait any longer..." he said lovingly.
Emiri giggled and took his offering hand. There she followed him to his room where she gave him all the love she had built up inside her from that day and then some.
