Hi. My name is Ivy Chikyo. I'm a second year at Kobayash high school for advanced students. I live alone with my brother, Dokugai.

I'm running so fast I can hardly breath. The man behind me seems to be getting closer and closer as each minute passes.
What does he want with ME?!?! I think as i run as quick as i can. my chest starts to fell heaver and heaver. it's starting to hurt!
oh no! not my asthma!
I'm starting to fall, but then, around the corner, is it? oh, it is!
"Doukugai!!!!" I scream, my voice faltering. "HELP!" the man, who was still chasing me said "Whoa, babe, don't do that.." He had caught up to me, and grabbed my wrist, his hands reaching up to grab my body.
"GET OF MY SISTER!!!" Doukugai had reached me, and i was suddenly propelled into his muscled chest, the beating of his steady heart calming mine.
How did he reach me so fast I mused as the man let go of me, and backed away slowly, his hands in a I-didn't-know-don't-kill-me-! sort of position
"Look, Chiyo-Sama, I didn't know that was your sister, she just looked like-"
Doukugai's hand silenced him as he slammed him into a wall 10 feet away.
"H-how did you..?" the man sputtered as he rubbed his mouth.
Doukugai simply turned, grabbing my elbow, pulling me towards the road. as we walked down the road, i started to wonder..
"Where are we going? We live over there.." I pointed down the other direction, where our simple but cozy apartment was, our home. Father had some alcohol issues, so we fended for ourselves."We're just gonna do some errands, get some groceries.." I started to rattle off a list of stuff we need, then dokugai turned me around to face him.
"We're gonna leave in a week. go to a new school, one where i can watch over you better. I had my eyes closed, but now I see. you're very pretty, Ivy, and men will take advantage of that. i don't wanna see you end up..." He trailed off suggestively, giving me time too understand.
"What school?" it was all i could do. I didn't have any friends here, so nothing came up to stop us. No one to tell. No one to say "Don't Go.." Like it mattered.
"Kobayash...A school for advanced students..." Suddenly I understood. He was going to a school, where we could be together. It was perfect! I started to jump up and down, race circles around him, and pulled (Dragged) him into the closest sweet shope.
"Let's get some Pocky, maybe some snacks for the trip...What do you want, Doukugai?" I smiled sweetly up at him, my eyes full of love, but then, i saw his down-cast face.
"What's wrong, don't you wanna move?" I asked, because i couldn't guess.
"You really wanna go, or are you just acting?" Was his simple reply.
"I want to be with you. Now let's get ready, okay?"
"okay, I want Pocky."
As we shopped, i realized, Doukugai might find someone else at this new school. then maybe I would find someone.
"Nah! WE could never love anyone else!" I said aloud, disrupting the quit of the manga shop we had drifted into. I picked up a Fruit Basket volume, purchased it, and drited back to the apartment with doukugai.
as i was packing, Doukugai came into my room, in his pajamas.
"Can I sleep here tonight?"
I looked u at him, his eyes blood-shot from tears.
"Sure, I was about to go to sleep anyways."
I crawling to the bed, and Doukugai held me firmly as we drifted to sleep, each with our own dreams of the soon coming morning, where we would go and attend Kobayash.
