...that was unexpected...

WARNING!!! MAJOR SPOILER ALERT!!
hey guys!! I'm back with another review-the latest ep of code geass R2 (episode 14) aired yesterday, and I must say, it was yet another superb episode.
What really got me was how calm Lelouch was in front of Rolo. Of course, I wasn't expecting a full blown bitch fest from him, but I did not expect Lelouch to congratulate him...hm...but I suppose Lelouch had other plans for Rolo-pity they did not work out as well as hoped.
I couldn't help but laugh at C.C when Lelouch calls her a selfish witch and she responds by saying "of course, I am C.C" she gets bonus points for that. Usually, the trend these pass few weeks is that Suzazku does something that puts him on the hate list of many fans-and this week's was no exception. What the hell is he thinking, telling Kallen that he's gonna use Refrain on her!? I mean, has he no consideration-her mother was a victim of the blasted drug! (and don't tell me that by now he hasn't looked into her family history-get real guys, this is the government we're talking about)
However, this week was not only a plunge for Suzazku (if he can go any further down) but also for Lelouch! Yes-our dear, beloved, psychotic protagonist has been the victim of some fan bashing. The reason? The fact that Lelouch ordered the murders of unarmed civilians-the Geass Cult Massacre. Well, sure every member had the power of Geass and they were under V.V's command, but some fans have claimed that what Zero did is exactly what Britania has been doing to the Elevens. This feeling is shared by some of the members of the Black Knights. So what does this mean for Lelouch-some say that there's gonna be a split within the Black Knights and frankly, I would not be surprised. I mean, it wouldn't be the first time an anime has gone like this, not to mention Viletta is going after Oghi, so she might worm her way around him. But, this is all hypothetical guessing of course.
I guess one of the most exciting parts to look forward too is the fact that Lelouch has just met up with Big Daddy-yep, the Emperor vs. Lelouch. I am quite curious as to what Charles meant when he said "time for redemption". How will Lelouch get himself out of this one? there's always the chance that C.C might manage to get in, since she's all Geassy, but I am not quite sure. And I really don't think a chess match is gonna fix this one either (or could it?)
Judging from the title of the next ep, it appears that some of the answers about C.C and her past (possibly the origin of Geass itself) will be revealed. There's also Kallen's fate to look to, so next week's episode is something to keep an eye for!
well, that's your weekly update! 'Till next time! ^_^
