heya peeps! ok...since I missed last week's, this entry's gonna be a double issue-eps 20 and 21 of CGR2 combined! woot!
ok...I guess the first thing to say is...WTF!?!? Talk about plot twists...Sunrise had a freaking field day with these two...first off, in episode 20, Suzu goes over to the dark side. Yup, he has an epiphany of sorts and realizes that what he was trying to do was naive and stupid....took him long enough. So, he goes to Schienzel and requests to be promoted to Knight of One, since he was the one who fired FREIJA (sp?). However, only the emperor can appoint someone to a knight of one...ya...so Suzaku goes and attempts to assasinate the emperor, thus resulting in Schinezel becoming emperor (how that works is beyond me...) so Suzu goes but is greeted by none other than the Knight of One himself! so they have a bit of a spar-more like Suzu runs and then gets knocked down...poor dude... but they are cut off by an explosion-Lelouch has arrived!! and 'pissed' is once again, an understatement here.
some how Lulu finds his way into the other world where Big Daddy is and seals off the gates, causing him to scream his name but not really doing anything about it...hm. Meanwhile all of this is happening, back with CC who is still timid, Anya appears before her geassed. turns out Marianne is currently residing in her body and wakes up the true CC-fans rejoice! the cynical witch has returned!
in episode 21, Marianne and CC find Suzaku and one way or another, all of them end up in the other world. The answer as to who killed Marianne is revealed: VV. Oh, and may I mentioned that my friend and I were correct in our hypothesis about Anya: she DID witness the death of Marianne and this her memory was altered, which is why she doesn't remember a nine year old diary. Yes, we are amazing, I know (vain, yes). So it turns out that both the emperor and marianne had hoped to create a new world with no lies. and thus ragnarok. well, lulu flips out b/c he realizes all this time, he was being used just to get cc back-she is needed for ragnarok to continue. So, after making a huge speech about Nunna-chan and what pathetic parents they are, Lelouch goes all Zero-ish again and makes a wish to the Gods-for a tomorrow, not a new world. Thus, Ragnarok is destroyed and the emperor and marianne disappear. fast forward one month later, and Lelouch has taken the throne as the 99th emperor. and Suzaku is his Knight of Zero-double meaning much?
so yeah...that's eps 20 and 21....all i can say is "WTF?!" I seriously, was not expecting this to happen...I mean, does that make the black knights the enemy since they're with Shienizel? And also, how come one ep ago suzu is ready to kill lulu and now, he's his Knight!? (though some fans may be happy about this..)
