“Sky, guess who I found?” I turned to look at Io and blinked at the guy who was standing next to her… He looked familiar… (Me: D< Baka Sky!)
“BEN!” Sora screamed and jumped and glomped him. My brother also seemed happy to see this guy… Wait… They called him Ben?
“BEN!” I shouted and smiled widely at him. “Little late on that one, Sky.” David muttered to himself.
He smiled and hugged Sora back and said a greeting to David.
“Oh, I’m sorry. I should introduce myself as well, I’m Io Carina Winright!” Io told us and smiled. She got a few replies of some new people as they introduced their self.
Sora chattered too quickly for me to understand but apparently since he knew her better he understood what she was frantically saying to him.
Not long after that I heard my name being called again, “Sky!” I turned to the sound of the voice and saw Ariel running over to me. “Hey, Ariel. What’s wrong?” I asked concerned.
Ariel shook her head and smiled. “Nothing’s wrong. None of us really know what to do here, so we were hoping to just chill out with you for awhile.”
I smiled up at my friend. “Sure.” It had seemed like forever since we had a decent conversation.
She looked up and noticed Ben and shock spread across her face. “Bens here?!” I nodded to her and smirked. Asuka seemed surprised too and went over to talk to him along with Sora.
“So are you having fun here?” I asked Ariel. I knew that she didn’t really get it, but not very many of the group members did…. Besides Hana and Fai.

I blushed as Moon grabbed onto my hand and lead me towards a food both and went to go and get something while I sat down. Staring at the ground I couldn’t help but feel so happy to be here with this group… Here with Moon…
Letting out a sigh I could hardly believe that I had meet him. I closed my eyes and listened to the murmur of everyone who passed when suddenly I heard foot steeps approach and my name.
Assuming it was Moon I opened my eyes and looked up at the figure, though it… Wasn’t him..
The person beamed, “Rika! I can’t believe it! You’re actually here! Wow! I haven’t seen you since…” He trailed off and bit his lip than swiped his oddly red and long tongue over his lip ring.
“Since… We had that unfortunate event.” I nodded slowly.
“What… What are you doing here anyway, Tyler?” He shrugged. “I live a little bit near here and Liz got me into this anime stuff.” He laughed and rubbed the back of his head and I laughed nervously.
It was impossible…. I thought to myself. Liz was dead. I knew that for a fact when I was with my first group traveling to harmony… Liz had gotten sick and had died. There was no way.
Tyler put his hands in his pockets. “Damn. I shoulda made Liz come with me.. But you know her, stubborn as usual. Haha! Lazy too.” Narrowing my eyes I though things didn’t start to add up.
He seemed to pick up on this. “What’s with that look, Rika? Has a few months really changed you that much?” a few months? I hadn’t seen him for three years though… I gave Tyler a concerned look.
“Are you alright?” he frowned. “Of course I am Rika! Psh, you really do worry too much.”
I was about to say something when he cut me off, “And what? No ‘Oh how much I’ve missed you, Tyler!’ or ‘how is Liz doing?’ or even a simple, ‘Hello Tyler!” he made that goofy face he always did and used his impersonation of my voice.
He snickered and I rolled my eyes. Maybe that’s what he was doing. Talking about Liz, telling me that I’ve been gone only a few months… That must be it…. He always joked around.
“Fine, I’ve missed you so much, how is Liz doing, and hello!” he laughed loudly and pulled me into a hug, “Missed you too, Rika-Chan.”
“….Rika?” I turned away from Tyler and saw Moon with a look of surprise in his eyes.
“M-Moon! I, uh… This is-“
“Hiya! I’m Tyler. Rika’s boyfriend.” I froze and I felt a chill go up my back. True, I had gone out with Tyler once… For a week that is… I looked up at him to see if there was a hint that he was joking, but there was none. All I could see was the little kid I had met three years ago.

I entered into the building; I was immediately confused by all the people in strange costumes. It was the first time I had ever seen anything like this. I noticed more halfers as I walked on looking for the rest of the wolves. It seemed hopeless until my ears perked up at the sound of Shadow's grunting as he hit the ground. I ran over to them and found his brother Ice had completely tackled him into the floor. "Oh, la la." I sighed. "Des freres sont tres interestes." Ice jumped up and walked off. I raced over to Shadow and helped him out. "Quest-I mean what was that about?" Shadow smirked as he pulled himself up. "He's just mad 'cause I called him by his old nickname, Icy." I laughed slightly at the situation such a remark had caused. Shadow blinked. "Oh, I just realized; you haven't told me your name yet." I blushed self-consiously; had I really been that invisible to not have told them my name. "Oh, Je m'appelle Echo." Shadow just blankly stared at me. Merde! I forgot most of these people don't know french. "Uh, I mean! My name is Echo." He laughed at my stuttering. "Sorry, I only speak english. Anyway, I'm Shadow." I shook his outreached hand. "Enchante-I mean it's nice to meet you." This would some getting used to; but Shadow seemed interesting to say the least. It was my first time talking to him; I had seen him a little around the fishing village but it was the first time I met him up close. "Oh, by the way; what is it between you and that other one named Ice?" I asked curiously.

Just a little something; Echo arrived to see Ice beating up Shadow. Ah yes, Echo has an eternal struggle between French and English.

I looked at Shadow. "So, what are your names?" he asked. "Nice Shadow, almost give us away," I half teased. He turned to me, "Lighten up Icy, lots of people who come here like to act like halfers and will say they are." I didn't hear most of that, I stopped lessening after he said "Icy", and was glaring at him. How I hated being called Icy.
"Hay, Shadow, where did you pick up that "Icy" thing?" Pierce asked him. I heard that. Looking at Shadow I expected him to say it was his secret like always, but he had a gleam in his eyes. "Well..." He never got to finish. I lunged foreword pinning him down. Getting really close to his ear I practically growled, "You tell them, you're dead!!!"
"Okay, okay, I give," Shadow called. I got off him, and walked away, I needed to cool my head somewhere. I noticed Nanuke and Kallik were sitting together on the edge of the group, suddenly I relished I had been ignoring them sence Shadow had shown up. Slowly I walked up to them, "Snow Flower, Kallik, I'm sorry, I haven't been paying much attention, I mean..." I stammered, braking off at the end. "It's okay, Ice," Nanuke said as she gently took my hand.

Okay, I randomly thought Shadow should have some old nickname that annoys Ice, and this is the result. At least Ice isn't ignoring Nanuke and Kallik anymore.
