"Asuka, have you ever been to an anime convention before?" I asked her as I nervously looked around to a bunch of costume clad wanderers.
Little Asuka shook her head, "N-no. N-never before have I been to one." She looked as nervous as I felt, but that was to be expected. We had grown so close to the group without seeing many outsiders.
But, then again, we had gotten a lot of new group members. I sighed. We would be ok. No one would be able to tell we were halfers. We would be ok. Zero came up behind us, almost protectively. He must have sensed how nervous the two of us were.
We milled about looking for the others, but it seemed we were all scattered around. So, we decided to just take in the sights. I wasn't sure what we were supposed to do, as I had never been to one before. Deciding to find Sky and chill out with her, we made our way through the mass of people.
"Sky!" I called out running over to her. Sky turned. "Hey, Ariel. What's wrong?" she looked a little concerned.
I shook my head, hoping to ease her discomfort. "Nothing's wrong. None of us really know what to do here, so we were hoping to just chill out with you for awhile."
Sky smiled, "Sure."

Sorry you guys! I fail so much as co-leader! So, here is a post to try and make up for it, though it isn't much. Again I am so sorry!
Sorry, I know it's Tuesday >< But I'm a bit messed up on my days. (I even tried to go to my Monday/Wednesday classes...)

Also, if you are one of the people who received a PM from me asking you to post, please do post. I get that it is the end of the school year and high schoolers have finals, but over the summer you should have more time at least. If you appear to just disappear from CF over the summer you will be kicked out and receive a PM that you have.
EoAA-Chan has asked me to, for the moment, take her OC out and have her leave the group so she can come back with a fresh start once she has more time. I decided to have her just disappear while everyone is at the con.
Win-Chan hasn't been apart of CF for awhile and I still can't think of away to get ride of her OC. She said she was basically fine with anything, so I'm thinking of having her disappear in the next plot. (Zoey-Chan! Please PM me about the next plot involving your new OC cause this'll fit in with it ;D)
Also if I don't get time to do this;

Pierce - Maki pushed at my shoulder, indicating that I should walk over and say hello.
I, the epitome of bravery, was having second thoughts. Would they recognize me? Yes. Would they rat me out? Probably. Would they eat me? ...
I shuddered inwardly, "Maki, really? Introduce ourselves to people we don't know? How dangerous. I scolded her, attempting to turn the tables.
She held strong on her argument, and after a few shots at my social life (or lack there-of), I conceded.
I wandered over, attempting to look nonchalant. "Yo." I raised my hand in greeting, casually.
All of them (the fox and cheetah because they knew that I had messed with Fuzzy Paws, Fuzzy Paws because I was a stranger trying to talk to them) looked at me oddly. "...Um, Hello...? Do we know you...?" the cheetah asked, realizing that no one else was going to comment.
An idea exploded in my mind, and I feigned hurt, gasping melodramatically, "You don't remember me?! But...Why?! After all we've been through together...!" I pretended to sob into my shoulder.
Everyone looked dumbstruck at my outburst, we were even attracting a crowd (a few of the half breeds we've been traveling with were staring, too. Huh. Guess they didn't know I could have a personality). I grinned internally, I was such a genius.
The cheetah's eyes were as wide as golf balls at this point, visibly wracking her mind for who I was. "I think you have the wrong perso--"
I gasped again, "You really don't know who I am!! I can't believe you! Of course it's you!: I continued to fake-sob, hiding my face from their view so that I wouldn't be tempted to burst out in laughter.
I felt a weak smack on the back of my head, and looked up to see Maki glaring up at me, "PIERCE!!" she screamed.
There was a large crowd looking at all of us in curiosity. The halfers that we knew were baffled at this point, (Maki can talk above a stutter-y whisper!!) and the new ones even more-so (Who is this guy sobbing like maniac?!). I stood up straight and grinned at Maki, dropping the act. "Oh, hey Maki!" I ruffled her hair innocently as though nothing had occured.
She glared at me, blushing furiously, "How could you?! I mean--Y-You--Urgh!!" she huffed indignantly, "Don't do that to people!"
"Do what?"
She sighed, seeing that trying this with me just wasn't gonna work right now, "I-I'm so sorry...! He's always been...l-like this, I--It's nothing to worry about..." she stuttered out, bowing apologetically to the three halfers.
"We'll just be going now..." Maki tried to make an escape but was stopped by Ice running up, not noticing the group of bewildered people.
"Hey, Pierce, who're they?" he asked, gesturing to the poor halfers in question.
"Excellent question." I answered vaguely, smiling absently.
"What do you mean--"
"Ice, you know who they are?" a dark haired guy cut him off, looking around.
Ice shook his head, but the cheetah asked, "And you are?"
I had a feeling she was referring to me, but the guy with Ice answered instead, "I'm a...I'm Shadow. I'm a wolf halfer."
I suppressed the general 'Ooooooooohhh, you told what you areeeee' infantile reaction. Way to come out, dude, but maybe a bit quieter?
Luckily no one had heard but us, and Shadow quickly followed up, "So, what're your names?"
I grinned. I had a feeling that as long as we knew these guys, there was going to be some sheer awkward moments.

He was like that with everyone he knew when he was a kid, and Maki wasn't as shy, so that was like a step into their pasts!

Man, Io was acting pretty strange around this Ben-dude...who was he anyway?
Well, maybe he popped up before I entered the group?
I teased Io a bit about being love-birds and she had blushed a little.
Hmmmm, interesting...
After our game of darts, Io spotted Sky and some more halfers so we kind of ran over.
Sora recognized Ben and then Io introduced herself.
After her, Dani and Gray introduced themselves as well.
"Well, hey! I'm Kasumi, a Soricid-halfer," I told them.
They gave me odd looks when I said Soricid, but I decided to keep them guessing.
I could see Tamotsu lurking behind me a little, so I elbowed him in the ribs.

Kasumi elbowed me in the ribs, indicating that I should state my name.
I didn't really want to though...
I sighed and put on my best smile when I said, "Hi, I'm Tamotsu."
One of the halfers sniffed a little and stated rather grimly, "You're human, aren't you?"
Gulping a little, I nodded.
Kasumi slung her arm around my shoulders and told them, "Chill! He's a great guy!"
"Yeah, he's helped us a lot!" Sora chimed in followed by nodds from a few others who knew me.
I smiled and felt so happy that these friends were defending me as if I belonged with them.
Looking at Gray, I wondered if I would ever be a halfer, too.
A few of the newcomers still looked suspicious, but I guess that was only natural.

I called for Sky and Sora and David, but they didn't show up. I felt a pout creep onto my face.
"Well, I guess they're out having fun. I hope so at least." Kasumi said to fill the akward gap in conversation.
Ben looked a little uncomfortable. "Sorry to barge in on everything..." he mumbled.
It was surprising. Back in the mountains he had seemed so cold and distant. Why was he so...different now? Maybe he didn't want to see me again. Was he still mad at what happened before I joined the group? Oh too many questions and not enough answers! As my excitment wore off, I turned to Ben.
"I thought you said we couldn't see each other any more. That it wasn't 'like the old days.'" I wondered, "Why the change of heart, I mean you seemed so...different in the mountains."
Ben put his hand behind his head. "I uh, well..."
"Oh whatever," Io inturrupted, "I doesn't matter I guess, as long as we're friends again! I could just hug you. I'M GONNA HUG YOU!" I glomped my old friend. He seemed to tense up a little but then relaxed and hugged me back.
Kasumi and Dani gave suspicious looks from behind, "HEY! love birds, if you don't mind, we have a game to finish. Io, stop acting drunk!" Kasumi shouted. Io blushed a little and turned back to kasumi.
"Oh poo I'm not Drunk, JUST HAPPY AND WEIRD!" I laughed for a minute and slapped kas's arm. WE finished our game of darts and then wondered around. Gray and tamotsu seemed kind of...strange. I wonder what they had talked about before.
Then I spotted Sky with some random people. MORE HALFERS?! Oh my god, we're not as rare as I thought!
"Sky guess who I found?" I turned around and saw Sora and David there too(DX they're tere right??) Their eyes lit up and sora shouted "BEN!"
I looked around at the new faces. "Oh I'm sorry I should introduce myself as well, I'm Io Carina Winright!"
