~Ben(you guys remember him riiiight?)
I walked around this fair lookin place. This is the place that I got directions to from that traveler back a while. Did he give me the wrong directions?
Suddenly I felt I thwak fron behind. I whipped around and rubbed the back of my head. A chimey voice said, "Oops, I'm sorry!" Her voive was full of giggles. Then she turned to face me. "Ben!?" she shouted, "What in god's name are you doing all the way out here!?"
"Io! Hey I thought I might find you here! I left the mountains. Jack died in a fight with an attacking Mountain Lion and Jess wouldn't talk to anybody. I couldn't do anything for her. So I left."
"Oh, wow, what a surprise! DAVID! SORA! SKY! CPME OVER HERE" she called in this amplified dragony voice, I guess she really wanted them to hear..... *sweatdrop*
The few people she was with looked pretty confused. I smiled weakly at the two I remembered from the mountains, only the girl noticed, the other was in a deep conversation with a human boy. I wonder what about...
"Hahaha Ben, Kasumi and I were just having it out in a game of darts, that little cheater..." she said and playfully punched her compainions arm.
"So where is Seth?" I wondered, he never left her side when they wer ein the mountains.
Her face got a little stiff. "He's dead too." Kasumi put her arm around her friend, "But it's okay, I'm fine right Kasumi?"
Dead huh? That was sucky, I kinda liked the guy... sorta...
~Yodel my yogurt, SIGNING OUT!
was that okay?
Kasumi~
I had never been to a con before so this convention was bound to take me by surprise.
Attempting to fit in, I let my Soricid-ears pop out the top of my head.
I grinned at Tamotsu who just laughed.
I didn't love anything more than just relaxing and forgetting the world.
When we entered the festival area, I stood there and gaped awhile. Just taking it all in.
Tamotsu stood with me, like I was some small and naive child.
The moment was broken by Io coming over and dumping a large handful of powdered sugar from her funnel cake on my head.
"Hahaha, Kasumi-sama, it looks like you have dandruff!" Tamotsu teased me.
Amused but somewhat annoyed, I brushed it off hastily and glared at Io.
Quickly, I swiped a handful of sugar from her food and dumped it promptly on her on dark hair.
Wiping my hands on my white jeans, I declared, "Now we're even."
Io dramatically pointed a finger at me and announced, "I challenge you to a game!"
"Bring it on, dragon-girl!" I taunted with a grin.
Io scanned the area and pointed again saying, "How 'bout that one?"
She was pointing to a shooting game that Moon and Rika were playing.
Guns? I wasn't too much of a fan of guns of any kind really.
"Uh, wouldn't you rather play that dart one?" I asked somewhat uneasily.
Io made a pouting face and teased, "Awwwwwwww...big bad asassin afraid of a little fire power?"
I gave her a look and replied, "'Big bad FORMER asassin' just happens to hate guns!"
She shrugged and said, "Fine, darts it is! Unless Tamotsu wants to try shooting?"
Tamotsu looked at her like she had just told him that goats were extinct, "You expect me to shoot with only one hand?!"
Io held up her hands in surrender, "Fine fine! Darts it is, children!"
We made our way to the dart-throwing booth and I stepped up.
Io went first, tossing her three darts and hitting the anime-themed targets.
'Not bad,' I thought, 'But I can still do better!'
I tossed my three and hit direct targets except for the last one because Io pushed me and caused me to almost hit the booth person.
Everything seemed great...but Tamotsu-kun seemed a little out of it and kept staring at Gray.

Tamotsu~
When Kasumi and Io were playing the dart game, I couldn't help but look at Gray.
He wasn't originally a halfer. Was it possible that I could go through that transformation, too?
Finally I got enough courage to question him, "Uh...Gray? Could I talk to you for a moment?"
He looked surpried but nodded and followed me away from the booth.
"I know you weren't originally a halfer. Do you know of a way to turn me into a halfer too?" I asked him.

Maki - We had inally arrived at the Con that Shy had talked about, and I was really confused. 'To just relax', she had said...I looked around nervously; there were so many people! I winced slightly as I half-walked, half-limped around. I was wrapped in bandages still, since I was still sort of hurt.
I tried to shrink into the background. I felt like people were staring at me...They were so odd! They were dressed in such weird costumes, too...
I couldn't help but smile to myself, though. Everyone looked to happy! All of the halfers looked so calm and relieved, and it made me glad. There was just one person I couldn't see...
"Lookin' for someone, Maki?" a calm, amused voice asked from behind me.
I jumped about a foot in the air as I whirled around to see Pierce about three inches away from my face, bending down a little to match my height. I yelped, almost falling over.
He caught my arm and steadied me, "Yo." he grinned, flashing me a peace sign.
I gave him a half-hearted withering look, then giggled, "Hi, Pierce!" I chirped, his carefree grin was infectious.
He stepped into pace with me, "How's it going?" he asked, his hands interlaced behind his head as he walked.
I shrugged, smiling, "Everything's fine. This is pretty fun!" I gestured around.
He nodded, "Yeah. A definate improvement from how things were going before, huh?" he beamed at me, "No psycho wolves attacking everything with a pulse, no random, sort of, half, almost betrayals...I'm okay with this."
I nodded enthusiastically, "Mhmm!!" I looked over Pierce, he looked so much calmer than he had before. That was really refreshing--I loved it when Pierce smiled happily!
Pierce hummed thoughtfully, smiling to himself. I grinned, I hoped this peace lasted.
Moon
I looked around me as the group started to disperse and look around the convention that we came to suddenly. It looked like the humans were dressed up... as us, or some type of animal anyways. Then I saw booths where you could win a stuffed animal or whatever.... I wonder if Rika would like that...
Noticing that Rika was looking at me, I raised my eyebrow and realized she must of said something, and I blinked a few times. I was a little tired from my wounds anyways...
“Did you say something?” I asked her, utterly confused and she almost seemed relived about something. “Sorry… Guess I’m still a little out of it.” Rika frowned for some reason and brought me over to a bench and sat down.
“Is everything alright?” Rika asked and I smiled a little, still a little confused.
“Yeah. Still a little sore, though,” I told her as she tried to smile back but it turned into a straight face and she looked down.
Oh... She must've thought I meant about earlier from the fight and that this was her fault.... I sighed myself as she sighed and I looked over at her and grabbed her hand with a slight smile on my face. She looked up.
“I told you it was fine. Don’t blame your self, Rika,” I told her with a warm smile and standing up, deciding on thought that we should do something else than stand around.
“Now come on! We’re not going to sit here the whole time!” I exclaimed as she beamed happily and followed me over to some booths.
I could see her smiling the whole time as we went to a booth and the woman smiled as she saw us two and then saw me. I rolled my eyes and dug out some small money I had and realized that it was a shooting game. It made me hope Rika wouldn't think anything bad about that...
"Alright, cutie. Let's see how you can do," the woman told me as she held me a rifle and the game started.
On the first try, I got all of the targets and all of the extra points, which was weird. I didn't always shoot guns. I handed the woman back the gun and she smiled at me.
"Pick whichever stuffed animal, handsome," she laughed and I looked over at Rika, who looked uncertain about picking which stuffed animal.
"Pick whichever one you want, Rika," I told her with a warm smile and she smiled a little bit more as she pointed one out and the woman got it down. It was a black leopard. How ironic.
"See you later, cutie," the woman called out as we left and went over to where they were selling food and items being sold that looked like toy tails or ears for children. I chuckled as some kids ran past us with toy ears on them.
Rika and I sat down at a table and she looked happy but something else was on her mind.
"Is something wrong?" I asked Rika and she realized that I noticed she was drifting into her thoughts and gave me a small smile.
"Not really. Just... that woman...." I shook my head.
"I had no idea who that was, and besides, I wouldn't do that. You're more beautiful," I told Rika and she blushed brightly and dug her face into the stuffed animal.
I laughed a little and she looked up and laughed too. This thing, whatever it was around us, was pretty cool. Sort of like a huge carnival almost.... Except no rides. Just booths and food, but that was enough for me to make Rika happy and have her not think about that past. I smiled again, my wounds not hurting for once.
I was happier than I ever had been before with a girl, and I was glad it was Rika. I smiled at her and went to go get some food.

I hope that was okay, Poochy! ^-^;;;
