I ran after Jessy. We ran down the narrow area between two houses. I could here the dogs fallowing us. We broke out from the small passage and ran for the chain-link fence on the other side of the clearing. I jumped and returned to my human form landing on the fence with Jessy beside me. We climbed the fence and jumped down on the other side. We landed in a wide open field. It was the archery field in town. I knew the dogs couldn't fallow us here they couldn't climb the fence.
"We lost them," Jessy smirked with a smile.
"Ya," I panted back. Suddenly I froze. I could hear something climbing the fence behind us.
~Ice~
I fallowed the black wolf halfer and human over a fence into a large field. I landed lightly in my human form now. I slowly walked closer to them. The wolf halfer noticed me first and was almost instantly between me and the human. "What do you want, and why are you here?" He demanded.
I stepped back. "I don't want to fight," I said.
"Hey Shadow he kinda looks like you," The human called out unexpectedly. Startled I jumped changing into a wolf. Shadow was just staring at me. We stud there in silence.
"Ice," Shadow's voice sounded surprised, "Is that you?"
I ran up to him in response. I didn't really care if I looked like a pup right now.
"Shadow!!!!" I jumped at a human girls scream. "Shadow there's a fire."
"Wait calm down Kiley. What's happening?" Shadow asked, looking worried.
"It's Jake again," The girl Kiley said in a scared voice, "He's trying to burn down your home."
Shadow looked scared. "Jessy will you stay here with Kiley?" he asked the human boy urgently.
"Sure," Jessy responded, "But what about you?"
"I'm sure he'll help me," Shadow said signaling to me. He was right I would help him with anything. I wouldn't leave my brother alone. We toke off running for the fence. We climbed it quickly then landed. We both changed into our wolf forms and ran onto the street, Shadow in the lead.

Okay there on the same street as the rest of the halfers now.
Pierce - Don't get me wrong, I had come to trust the pack a little after having that odd heart-to-heart with Ice...
But the very thought of any of those grimey mutts touching Maki sent chills down my spine. (Sorry, pack, I hold grudges)
That's how I ended up transporting my little wolf friend to the village destination. I carried her on my back, careful not to jostle her as I walked.
At first, I walked alone, in the back of our little derranged group of halfers, lost in thought again.
You see, Maki had been waking up, on and off for the past hour or so.], so my mood had lightened considerably.
That female wolf (her name was Nanuke, I think) actually did a good job tending to Maki's wounds. Her tactics to get me to carry Maki could've been more subtle, but, whatever. She just didn't get the fact that I'd always be willing to help out Maki. No matter what.
"Hey." a voice came from behind me, maing me jump.
I whirled around to see Ice, looking at me curiously. I sighed, this was the second time he's shocked me from behind...!
I nodded at him, "Hello." I smiled slightly.
"How is she?" he asked, nodding towards Maki.
I smiled dryly, "She's doing a lot better." I sighed, "I was really worried for a while..."
Ice nodded, falling into step with me.
We walked in silence for a while. Honestly, I enjoyed not feeling obligated to say anything, but just bask in the silence.
Suddenly, a black blur flew past us, causing me to jump back in surprise, and earning a confused whimer from Maki.
Ice cocked his head, then his eyes widened and he was racing after the wolf.
I stared at where they had gone--my first reaction would've been to follow them, but I was carrying someone, and running wouldn't really help out.
I sighed, and kept walking. I was starting to learn how weird wolves were.
Maki - My eyes flickered open, and the first thing I noticed was that I was being carried.
I nearly jumped out of my skin, I yelped.
Pierce winced in surprise at my loud outburst, "Wha--Oh, Maki! You awake?"
I nodded slightly, "Y-Yeah..." my voice was raspy and quiet.
Pierce beamed at me, "That's great! You were out for a while." he grinned.
"What happened? Is Thunder...?"
"Dead!" Pierce chirped--a bit too gleefully to be healthy for him--"You got him distracted and hurt, and a few others took over from there. You actually missed this one...He ran off a few minutes ago. He was a really good guy; Ice was his name." Pierce went on.
I smiled a little dispite myself, "So you made a friend?" I smiled at him.
He considered the word, "...Yeah. I guess so. He's not bad, anyway." he shrugged.
I giggled, he hardly ever seemed to be in such high spirits! "That's great, Pierce!"
He nodded, "I'm glad you're awake, Maki." he sighed.
I smiled again weakly, "Me too."

My paws flailed as I raised through the village. I heard the dogs barking behind me. I heard one howl, "We'll get him this time." They where gaining on me. I saw a group that was unusually large in town. I was running strait for them. I ran strait through the group, as I passed I discovered they were halfers like me. As I left the group I heard another set of paws following me. I ran harder. "Over here," I heard Jessy's voice. I raised over to him.
~Ice~
Frost sent the rest of the pack back to the forest, but stayed with the group to help us find the docks. I had dropped back to walk with the cow halfer Pierce. Suddenly a black wolf flashed past me. Who's that, and what's he running from, I wondered. Then I picked up a sent I knew. I knew it from nine years ago. I took off after him. I wouldn't lose him again.

Okay so Jessy is Shadow's best friend in the village. He is one of the only three who know he's a halfer. The other two are Andy(Angela) and Tie(Tision) his adoptive parents. I'm sorry if I'm seaming to be only about my own characters, but both Nanuke and Kallik are still with the group. Also if you want your character to fallow Ice and Shadow you can go ahead and do that. Please let me know first though so I can change the way things happen accordingly.

“It looks like were about to go,” I told Rika, who seemed still be be debating in her head about staying or not. I guess I couldn't blame her, but these wolves... Something more seemed to be going on than just the fight.....
I held out my hand to Rika and she smiled up at me as she took my hand and kept it there, which made me smile. Sky decided we were to go to the village and see where the wolves would go with that. I went along with it, and followed the group with Rika still beside me, her hand still in mind.
I gave her hand a small squeeze to try and reassure her about the whole ordeal, but she just gave me a small smile back and then looked at my bandages and how much I was leaning on my katana. I wasn't wincing, but my wound was still hurting.
I figured it was to distract herself from the matter at hand, but she did actually seem a little concern.
"Is that hurting?" Rika asked, her eyes scanning over my dressed wound.
"A little, but not that much. And don't worry, okay, Rika? Everything is going okay," I tried to reassure again, but she just did a slight smile.
"Trust me," I told her as I picked up her hand and kissed it, which made me blush and her blush as I put our hands back down our side.
I smiled and she smiled as we slowly got into the village, which was bustling as usual.
