I followed down the path. My wet clothes were more dry now, but I still wasn't happy that I got wet in the first place. Fai walked beside me. He looked over at my annoyed face. He smiled, and started rubbing my head.
"AH! Hey!!" I exclaimed, shrinking away.
"Cheer up! They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger..." he trailed off. I gave a growl.
"Strong, eh? Well, we might need to be." I watched the hunters surround us. A trap! That girl led us into a trap! I knew there was something strange about her. I started breathing heavily, my anger building.
"Tsuki? Calm down..." Fai said.
"Shut up!" I said harshly. He took a step back. "I hate these people! And one like us led us straight into their trap! I... I..." I broke out into a half scream, half roar. I phased into a panther in mid air and attacked the nearest gaurd. Fai looked shocked behind me. I had just broken a vow we took together a while ago. But I knew his next action. Sighing, he became a giant white, snowy owl.
"If this is what it takes, then so be it! I won't be taken again!" I told him telepathically, just about to reach the first man...

Yeah, make as much horrible stuff happen to them as you can think of! ^_^ I give permission to do all but kill them. Take them alive, knock them out, make them lead a revolution... What ever! I left it open for creativity. (but, if possible, be mean to them, please?)

"So...I really don't know much about you, Moon. What's your story?" My story? God, I never thought about that... Remembering it made my mind hurt...
"S-sorry...." Rika bit her lip, then continued. "I'll go then you?" I was taken aback with this. I wasn't expecting her to say that, but I slowly nodded, letting her speak. My eyes kept on her the whole time, always scanning her. I wonder if that was a habit now...
"Well, I was captured by the scientists about...Three years ago. I can't remember my family, if I even had any...I stayed there for the three years and was tested and experimented on." I nodded and she continued.
"When you and your group came along and managed to break free, I escaped and followed the groups scent to the boat... and met you..." She blushed, which made me blush in response. Met me? I wonder what she exactly meant by that...
"S-so, what about you, Moon?" She asked and I took a deep breath as I just turned my head back to the outside, remembering it it was just yesterday. I rubbed and scratched my arm in response to remembering.
"My past... I don't think, was as complicated as yours was, Rika. My father hated me, the whole tribe turned against me, thinking I was something... disgusting," I spat but continued.
"My mother and sister cared for me even after I had to prove myself to the tribe and to my father that I was worthy of being in it. I had gotten pretty hurt, and in response, my father didn't care and ripped open my arm. It wasn't pretty but it did heal at some point in time..." I sighed as I scratched the old scar.
"I wondered around for a while, taking care of myself after I left my mom and sister from their traveling to Harmony. I particularly didn't care about if it was Harmony I was going to or just to a simple town that I lived in. Just as long as I lived somewhere."
"I later met up with this group and been with them for some time now, and then there was the part at the dock where I thought I would finally get to go somewhere to where I just found out it was a dud, but I did get to meet you, at least..." I felt myself blush again when I heard some talk about exploring the cave more and people wanting to get to it.
I ignored them as I continued to scratch my arm, the whole scar now visible by any wondering eyes....

I listened to the rabbit and clouded leopard rant to each other until someone came and broke them up by telling her little sob story with a grin on her face.
"Seems like most halfers haven't had a great life." I said out loud to no one until someone answered me.
"Yeah." I had totally forgotten that Moon was there! He looked over at me with a confused expression. I laughed nervously and tried to make it seem like I had mente to say that.
"So...I really don't know much about you, Moon. What's your story?" He was quite...Should have known that brining up a past story would have lead to that..
"S-sorry...." I bit my lip trying to think of something. "I'll go then you?" I asked with a tilt of my head smiling at him. He seemed taken aback that I would go but nodded.
Like normally when my past came up, I used my fake past...The past I WISH had happened...

o-oU Uh well I'm not sure what were going to be doing, but for now we'll just explore the cave and eventually Rika will lead them to the base X3 So could we move out of the cave soon???

I kind of just walked around the little temporary camp for a while.
No matter how hard I tried to find a way to open the box, I found nothing.
There were many defense mechanisms it seemed.
If opened the wrong way, the contents of the mystery box would be forever destroyed.
So I gave up for a little. Just a little. We had to find Harmony soon!
Everyone's spirits and fuses were really low.
For example, an argument seemed to have broken out between Lucy and a clouded leopard whose name I caught from the heated debate.
When both Lucy and Ricarda had finished their little stories of how there life was miserable, I walked over and jumped in.
"Yes, and my parents died when I was 3 and I've been a murderer ever since! My purpose in life since then has been to kill. I'm a deadly weapon used to take the lives of people who were rendered useless or dangerous. The only people who showed me kindness were either using me, dead, or hurt because of me. I'm a cause of pain and suffering to whomever I meet. That's a fact," I told them in a sweet voice as I placed a hand on both their shoulders.
"Where the he-" started Ricarda. She was probably wondering where I had come from and why I jumped in.
I stopped her by placing my finger to her lips.
"The point of me telling you this," I said, "Was not to vent or to make you feel sorry for me. I told you to prove something. Life sucks. That's why all these halfers are here. We all want to have a life that isn't miserable. I challenge you to find a halfer who didn't have a painful or miserable past and present. None of us can change those things."
They were silent, probably thinking over my words.
"But we CAN change the future! Now who wants to help me with a puzzle box?"I said with a grin.

Just as Tamotsu came closer and closer, I spotted Kasumi off on a piece of wood.
"There! I shouted. "She's over there!"
Fortunately for me, Tamotsu and Io saw her and sighed.
I began to make for the shore again but Tamotsu spotted me and said, "No way you're getting off easy! You betrayed us!"
Then he just simply flung thte chain off his arm and it wrapped tightly around me, pinning ym arms to my sides.
"Ugh!" I began to sink deeper and deeper into the water while waves crashed over my head and water filled my lungs.
So this was Tamotsu of the Old Agency. A cold-blooded killer like Kasumi.
I wasn't an asassin for nothing though!
I waited until I was sure they had left me to die and then Ichanged into my horse form, stretching the chain as much as I could.
Then I kicked my back legs and swam for shore.
As much as I tried to swim, the chain kept pulling me down.
I just about gave up when I heard a voice from below me, "Neeed a lift?"
I almost cried for joy when I was lifted up on top of the head of a sea serpent.
"Shiori!"
