We went in the way that Io said. I was wondering how the heck were we going to track a dragon!? Dragons can fly and the last time I checked cats can't...So what if Seth flew some where else...But wouldn't he tell Io? Uhhhh too many questions!
We had been walking most of the day and it did not seem to be any closer..."Uhhhh I say time to rest.." I said and flopped down. "Ummm...I think we should keep going..." Io sounded a little worried. "Why?" Dani asked. "N-no reason! I j-just thought that since its still light out we could get farther...." "Is something bugging you Io? You can tell use you know!" Asuka said.
"W-well there's another band of half breeds living here...They are more animal than human...They fight for territory and won't give up until you leave...Me and Seth encountered them once..I did not want to hurt them so we flew away to live over there...." "And your afraid that they are still living here?" Ariel asked. "No! I know they still live here!" She sounded really worried. "I'm sure we could take em! Plus they might have seen Seth...Or Kovu." I said. "Plus it looks like everyone is starting to get tired.
"U-ummm...OK." She said still looking around. Everyone started to settle down but it looked like some were spooked from what Io said. A rock zoomed though the air almost hitting Asuka. "Wha-what was that!" She said staring that the rock that came inches from here head.
"Dang I missed." We all looked up to see someone coming down another rock in his hand. "Look we don't want trouble." Ariel said moving in front of Asuka. "Huh well may be I want trouble!" He said lunging forward.
When he landed there was no human but a cobra. He opened his mouth showing 2 large fangs. "Now what do we have here Jack?" To my dismay I saw another half breed coming. It was a female with a tail warped and at an odd angle. The snake whipped its head around, a human again. "Come to join the hunt Jess?" He said grinning. "Why not?" She said steeping forward lifting her long tail. She garbed the bandages and took them off. So she was a scorpion. Grate just what we need...2 venomous half breeds.
"Heh. Look it you again. Thought we chased you off girl. Awww where's your little friend? He leave you?" The snake half breed, Jack? , snickered. "May be we should teach you a lesson to say off of our territory!" He lunged forward again snapping his jaws close to Io's shoulder.
She screamed and was a dragon. Lashing her tail she hit Jack away hitting him into a rock. "Jack!" The scorpion half breed steeped forward crouching down and lifting her tail.
"Quit it you two!" Oh grate another half breed I thought...What is it going to be...A tarantula may be? Then we can have 3 venomous half breeds! Oh joy....I turned around to see a muscular man with short spiky hair jumping from rock to rock. I could tell from his sent that he was a half breed.
"Awwwww Ben you fun spoiler!" Jack said staring at him. "Don't you want them off? That what we always do to trespassers!" Jess said getting up. "They better have a good expiation for trespassing." He growled. "And you too! Attacking when you were not ordered. He bared his teeth. "Sorry Ben...We were just having a bit of fun before we went back...Jack smelled them and thought it would be intrusting." Jess said.
"Whats the hold up Ben?" I heard a voice call. I looked up shocked at who I saw..."Dusk..." I only whispered. He eyed me for a second and looked away. "It will just be a second David." Ben called. "Just need to deal with them." He said drooping onto all fours. He turned into a mountain lion.
"Hold up a minuet Ben..." Dusk said jumping down. He looked at me again..."Do I know you?" He said in a bitter tone. I flinched back. This could not be Dusk! And why had Ben called him David? "I-its me..Sky...You remember right? Your sister." I said staring at him. "Right I thought I knew you from some where...OK carry on Ben." He said turning.
My mouth hung open. I had dreamed about this for ever...Knowing Dust was alive...Meeting him...This was not how it was supposed to go! "You know her David?" Jess asked finishing warping her tail up again. Dusk stopped. "Yha she's my sister. What about it?" He said his voice so cold. "I thought you said you had no siblings. Obviously thats not true! Are you going to let her die?" She challenged. "You killed your father so why not let Ben rip them to shreds." She flinch back hugging her self. "Thought so." He said and turned.
"David! If you know them then they are your guests." Ben growled. "*sigh* Fine." He mumbled turning back to us. "This is Ben, Jess, and Jack...I'm David so-" "No your not! Your names Dusk!" I hissed at him. Jack burst out laughing. "Ahhh have not heard you called that in a long time."
"Thats not my name any more..." He said glaring at me."But it shows we were born in the same litter! Moon and Star. Dusk and Sky!" I said annoyed that he would try to change his name. "Like I said my names David now." He said and started to turn away. "Well, are you going to sit there all day or come on!" He hissed at us. "Don't order me around like that!" I spat at him. "I can tell you to do what ever I want you to do! Your my younger sister!"
He turned into a cat and started to run slowly so we could get up to him. I pulled my lip back and hissed running after him a cat soon. I leapt up onto a boulder and then jumped in front of him. "Ha! Take tha-" I screamed as my paw slipped. I shut my eyes ready to hit the ground and wait for death. I felt something grab me by the scruff. Dusk was leaning over me. "Ow! Not so hard!" I said as I felt blood start to trickle. "Serves you right Sky!" He said tightening his grip. I surprised a squeak.
He pulled me back up and started running again. I looked to see the shocked expressions on there face. I was just as shocked as them but I said nothing I just fell into step with them.

Yes! Poochy's big mountain secret! :) I hope you liked it! Oh and Dusk and Star are the same age Dusk was just born first so he thinks of him self as "the older brother" but not by long! I'm sorry if its kinda confusing :'( ask a question if you need to!

I stretched. It had been a long night. The dragon girl, Io came up to all of us. She seemed nervous and stuttered, “Um, you guys. I need to tell you something.”
This peeked my interest. “What is it?” I asked.
She began talking about the boy she was looking for and stated that he wasn’t where he was supposed to be. “We could go to the place he lives, and if he's not there, maybe we could follow his scent?" suggested Lucy.
Everyone seemed up for it. I gave a sigh. Io and I were in the same boat, trying to find someone we care about. I gave her a nod. Why not? I just might find Kovu.
She lead us to where she thought he was at.

"Um, you guys," I said nervously, still aching from lack of sleep, and sorrow, "I need to tell you something." All eyes shifted to me and i felt a bit uncomfortable.
"What is it?" Kara asked.
"You know how I told you about Seth?" I mumbled.
"I remember!" said Dani, Gray nodding his head behind her.
"Yeah, we were supposed to go and find him right? You said he lived nearby, not too long of a journey," Ariel said, sounding a little impatient.
"Mmm Hmmm, that's right," I answered, "but, when i left last night I went to find him, but he wasn't there. I don't know, maybe he came back, but I'm worried. I think something happened."
Lucy offered an idea, "We could go to the place he lives, and if he's not there, maybe we could follow his scent?"
I thought about that, but since i don't have a super keen sense of smell, I decided it wouldn't work. But as I thought about it now, I realized that I had a wolf, a cat, and a tiger as friends, and last time I checked, they had awesome noses! I wasn't sure about mongooses, foxcoons, bears, or rabbits, but I knew I had some kind of chance! If they would help me.
"I'm fine with that!" Dani said, "I like a challenge!"
"I'll help, too," that was Ariel.
"Hey don't leave me out!" sqeaked Sky.
Auska surprised me by speaking next, "I-I have a pretty good nose. I can help."
I saw Gray sort of nod, so I took that as a yes.
Kara seemed willing, and since it was Lucy's plan, I knew she'd be in. All of a sudden, I was really happy that i had some friends.

I always seemed to be running. Running from a lot of things. But this time, I wasn't getting away. The blazing fire was catching up to me. I felt as though I was on a tredmill, just running as fast as I could in place. No amount of adreniline was going to get me out of this, it seemed.
"Help! SOmeone please help me!" I cried out hoping for someone to come to my rescue, like they do in the movies. But this was reality. No one was coming. I was all on my own as the fire krept nearer and nearer.
"Ariel? Ariel?" A voice from above called to me as a figure appeared. It was my dad coming to my rescue as he had done all those years ago.
"I'm here!" I yelled frantically as I reached my hands up for him to take them. But, when he grabbed them, he fell down beside me. "Dad!" I rushed to his side as the fire made a circle around us. There was no escape.
"Ariel. You must get out. You alone must escape," my dad grabbed me and threw me back up the way he had come. I traveled through clouds and fog before I was suddenly on top of a hill, watching my father burn to death.
"Look what you've done!" it was my mother's voice, but I couldn't see her anywhere. "You killed him! This is your fault!"
"No!" I shook my head as tears fell down my face. "No!"
The next thing I knew, I was back in our house holding onto my dead baby brother. AGain my mother's voice pierced through the darkness that surrounded me. "Look what you've done! You are a murderer! No one is safe near you!"
"It was an accident! I didn't mean to!" I shook my head as heavy sobs stopped my words.
"You are a monster. No one loves you! You wreak death and destruction no matter where you go! I cannot love such a hideous beast!"
Then, I was in a graveyard, crying still. Glancing at the nearst headstone, it read Asuka. Looking around, each headstone had the name of each of my new friends: Sky, Dani, GRay, Lucy, Kara, Io. I stood up and found that the headstones continued on for miles.
I had done this. I was a threat to everyone. "NO!" I cried.
"Ariel! Ariel, wake up!" I opened my hazy eyes to find Asuka standing over me, shaking my shoulders gently. I sat up. Everyone was alive. I was back in the cave.
"Just a nightmare," I whispered running my hands through my hair.
"That must have been some nightmare," Asuka looked at me with worry heavy in her eyes. "You were thrashing all over the place and yelling 'No!' What did you dream about?"
I rubbed my temples; I could feel a nasty migraine coming on as they usually did after my intense nightmares. "I can't remember," I lied as I leaned up against the wall.
"Maybe it's a good thing you can't remember," Asuka said before she handed me my breakfast. "Come on, we need to get going. We are moving out today."
I nodded as I grabbed my stuff. I wished I didn't have to remember my nightmares. I really did.
