Thanking Moon in my own way and leaving her to be with Luna. I went over to the way I enter the room and grabbed a barely living, and very lucky, hunter with my bare hands. I covered his neck and hauled him up to shoulder lever and proceeded out the door.
I began to question my new best friend. How his wife was, how many kids he had, if he wanted them to live, how his neighbors were, the name of his employer, his opinions on his senator, How he was going to vote in the fall, the license plate number of the car he came in, ect, ect.
I went outside to see if my friend if snowboarding with out snowboards was possible ( and maybe ask for a demonstration 
) when I saw Fox-halfer (Had to fox, the smell is unmistakable) out looking at the ground.
"So, where do you think they went?"
The question wasn't directed at me but I answered it anyway.
"They're off to some rich girls place, they'll be easy to track."
"How do you know-"
He saw the bloody mess in my hand, who was at this moment even physically spilling his guts.
"May I ask who you are?"
"I'm Zar."
"And what kind of halfer are you"
"Bear"
His eyes widened. I could almost see him thinking about his last encounter with a bear.
"Don't worry, Fox is a tad to stringy to eat. Plus you wouldn't be much of a mouthful."
Alright, I'll admit to maybe having to much fun with this.
(okay, so this first part is before the attack)

I left Pierces room and walked slowly to my own. The advice that I had given the cow had been the advice I had been trying to follow myself. When ever I tried to get close to someone, I ended up pushing them away. Even Fai. Reaching my room, I closed the door by leaning it, my palms and arms flat against the wood. When it clicked, I slid slowly to the ground, pulling my legs towards me. Finally, warm tears started to roll down my face. This is the reason I had pushed my one companion away. No matter what, I couldn't let him see me cry, I couldn't let him wory about me. But what I had said... I knew it only made him wory, and probably hurt him. Why was I so stupid?! If I'm so d*mn lonely, why do I push away the people to try to help me? Fai...
My thoughts drifted to the person I had traveled with since that day long ago...
[START FLASHBACK]
"Well, hello! You're that halfer that terrorizes the other children around here, aren't you?" I jumped to see the one who had spoken, emitting a low hiss. A boy of about my age stood there. But his scent was different from the other kids. It smelled like a bird. "I'm Fai! I'm a halfer too!" His speach did nothing to soothe my nerves, and seeing this, he sighed. "The other kids say you're wild and stuff like that, but I don't think you're like that at all!" At any second, with any sudden move I was ready to transform and attack, or run away. "You're just... lonely, huh?" His words caught me off guard.
"Lone...ly?" I repeated like a little kid learning to talk.
"Yep! Lonely! You can't play with the other kids, and you don't have anyone to talk to, huh?" My eyes were wide, then I shook my head and glared at him.
"Oh..." he looked down. His smile didn't drop, but I saw the sad look in his eyes. "I guess I was wrong. Um, sorry, to bother you..." he turned and started to walk away.
I wasn't sure what came over me that moment. All I know is that something made me reach out and grab his shirt. He stopped, and looked at me surprised. His face changed back into a smile, and his hand fell with a soft pat on my head.
"I thought so!" I giggled. I was speachless, unsure of what to say. "So, what's your name?"
"Hanatsuki." The word came out like a vile term. He thought for a second.
"Then I'll just call you Tsuki!" he said determinedly. I blink, then smiled. It was the first time I smiled in a long, long time. Thus began our journey together.
[END FLASHBACK]
Chewing my lip, I knew he was my closest friend. Now that we were in a group, we kind of clung to eachother still. Infact, I didn't know a single other halfer besides Sky and Pierce. Of course, I knew some names, but that was about it. If I couldn't let my closest friend into my life, how would I act with others?
Just then, there was a knocking on the door behind me.
"Tsuki?" came a tentative voice. I could almost hear the hurt he was feeling, since I had known him long enough to tell when he was hiding something. It just made me mad. Mad at myself for hurting him, then mad at him for making me resort to that. In general, I was just mad.
"Go away!" I growled. I heard a sigh from the other side of the door, and a few tear rolled down my face.
"Tsuki, please. I-"
"D*mmit! I said go away!" I yelled standing up and facing the closed door. There was a soft footstep as he was take back by my sudden out burst, then the sound of running steps, fading away down the hall.
Realizing what I just did, more tears streamed out my eyes, and I fell to the floor in an (unintetionally) anime style pose.
"Why the h*ll am I so d*mn stupid!" I whispered shakily to myself. Half of me wanted to run after him, the other half didn't want to be seen crying. Suddenly, there was a crash from downstairs, and a lot of yelling. The smell of bounty hunters rose to my nose. No! Why now?!
Looking out the window, they had the entire place surrounded. Bursting out of my room, the chaos was already spreading towards the upper floor.
"Tsuki!" Fai's voice came from futher down the hall, looking quickly away, I ran toward the on coming attackers.
"Watch her! The mistress has her eye on this one!" called one. I growled, revealing pointed fangs, and I felt my nails extend as small claws. Jumping into their midst, I started stabbing, biting and slashing all the anger built up inside of me. But my energy was running out quickly. Suddenly, there was a sound of ruffling, then a great white form rose up, almost balled up in the small hallway, and came barelling though the mass of hunters. Fai. With a smile, I turned to the guy I had been previously fighting before the interuption, but he was gone. There was a great shriek from the giant white owl, and too late, I sensed the presence behind me. Turning, I met a cudgel to the head, and was out before I hit the ground.
~Fai
I watched Tsuki fall as if in slow motion. Already, men were rushing to pick her up, but I perched in their way. If I had a say, they weren't taking her anywhere.
Unfortunately, I forgot the men behind me, and suddenly, the was a large force hitting me in the back, and I was pressed down on the floor my a large, heavy net. The men with Tsuki rushed around me as I desperately struggled to break out.
Calm down Fai! Think! I told myself. As I rotated my head to see the men running quickly down the stairs, I started to rip at the net with my beak. It took too long for my liking, but finally, I had a small hole. Pulling my feathers in a close as possible, I stood up through the hole, much to the dismay of the men still watching me. After ripping each one apart with my talons, one by one, I realized that none of them had Tsuki. Outside, however, I saw them throwing Tsuki's body into the back of a van, along with other halfers being loaded onto other vehicles. Crashing through the window, the truck was already moving out, and the sight of the window breaking scared them enough to speed up and haul their sorry butts. I was thankfull for the cloud cover to blend with my feathers, when I suddenly realized how grey the clouds actually were.
There was a whizzing as something brush my wing, only barely missing. I didn't have time before another one struck, this time straight in the middle of my wings. A tranquilizer dart. My vision blurred and my wings numbed, and suddenly I was tumbling and falling towards the white, snowy ground. Tumbling like a giant snowball, I did my best to change back. Finally, I stopped, human again, laying sprawled out and numb on the groud, the dart stuck in my arm.
"N-no..." I muttered as I passed out, my last vision being the truck driving away, almost out of sight...
~Vana
Excellent. Everything was almost as planned. The trucks were starting to drive away, and the men were starting to retreat. "I think its time we go home and see what we've caught ourselves!" I smiled. The driver pulled out, and we were finally leaving.

~Shadow~
"I chased the hunters out of this hall," I told Ice and Nanuke.
I walked out into the hall stepping over the collection of bodies as I went. Ice walked off in the opposite direction and kicked open a door.
"I was right; they took Kallik." He said scornfully as anger bit his tone.
But, what about Echo? I wondered angrily. I walked down the hall as Ice and Nanuke followed close behind. I looked down at the ground looking for some sigh of her. Near the staircase, my foot hit the corpse of one of the hunters.
I would've paid it no mind but his wounds caught my attention. His wrists were slashed open and obvious evidence of fang mark bore on his throat.
I leaned down closer; it was Echo's work no doubt about it. Her scent still clung to him; I looked around from some other sign.
I didn't notice it at first but now it screamed at me. Spattered on the soft yellow wallpaper was a bloody star-burst.
I clenched my teeth; I knew what had happened. They had made her bleed and she hit her head on the wall before they dragged her away.
I punched my coiled fist into the plaster causing it to crack around my fingers.
~Ice~
I watched Shadow punch the wall repeatingly; slamming it until little blood droplets spotted it. I growled and grasped his wrist.
"Just stop! It's no use just sitting here!!" I snarled at him he looked at me his golden eyes furious. "Look, we'll get them back!"
"How do you know?!" He yelled back at me, "How can we?! How can anyone possibly save them now?! How the hell do you know?!"
"Shadow, you're not the only one hurting right now," I snarled my ears laying flat on my head. "This is something that hurting us all."
He glared at me with cold eyes. "I'll kill them, I'll kill them all." He snarled yanking his wrist away from me.
"You do that then." I growled back at him, "Now let's go." I barked the order as I turned on my heal and stomped down the steps.
I heard Shadow and Nanuke behind me. Shadow was slamming his feet down with every step. Nanuke's foot-steps were light and hurried.
~Nanuke~
I fallowed Ice as he burst out of the door. Shadow seemed to want to run off and search the vans for Echo. I grabbed his arm and held on for dear life.
Ice was sniffing the air, looking for Echo and Kallik. We were hiding all signs that we were wolves. "It's no use, as a human I just can't get the sent." Ice growled aggressively.
I sighed letting my head hang down but kept my firm grip on Shadow(who was muttering insults under his breath). My eye cot something black in the snow. Subconsciously I let go of Shadow and knelt down to pick it up.
Ice darted foreword and grabbed Shadow before he went for the vans. "What did you find Snow Flower?" he asked me as he jerked Shadow farther from the vans. "Stop acting like a puppy Shadow."
"Shut up!!!!!!" Shadow yelled as he tried to pull himself away from Ice.
"I ... I think it's Echo's collar," I told him. At that instant Shadow grabbed the collar from my hands.
"Ya, this is Echo's, when I get my hands on them they'd better be ready." He snarled.

A sudden pain in my ribs woke me up. I look up, and find a pair of VERY familiar aqua eyes glaring down at me. I sit up, and immediately get dizzy.
"Hey," I say to Kari. "Where are we???" I could detect motion, so I figure we're in a vehicle of some sorts.
"Mutt, are you STUPID???" She says back. "We're in a van."
"Ohhhh..... so, did Paloma and Ren escape??" I ask, looking to see everyone in the van. All familiar faces.
Echo, Kallik, Kari, Allisa and Belk were also here.
Kari snorted, and I bare my teeth at her. I try to move, but i wince when I try to move my shoulder.
"Ah!" I whisper under my breath.
"Don't move." Echo says. "I've done my best to cover your injuries, but its not the greatest..... We don't have much to work with."
I nod, and notice that her pants are torn up. I look down at the bandages, and even though they're stained with my blood, I realize she ripped up her pants to help me.
"Thanks, Echo! I appreciate it!" I say, smiling. Then I turn to Belk, who's sitting towards the back corner of his cage.
"Hey, Belk!" He looks up. "How's everyone else? Are they okay?"
"Last time I checked, Colette and Lucy were fighting..... I was with Zack and Zoey when I got captured, but I think they're okay." He tell me. I sigh with relief; its good to know that everyone else isn't going through this torture, too. Even Colette, who I REALLY don't like. But, even though I've managed to get away from HER, I end up with my second least favorite person...... Kari.
"So Mutt, you couldn't escape??" Kari grins. "Pathetic.... you really are just a puppy."
"Hey, I wouldn't be talkin, Kari! You're in this mess too, right?" She looks offended, and I smirk. Roasted!!!!! She really thinks she soooooo smart, but shes not.
Sadly, she notices me smirking, and she punches me in the nose.
"Ow!!!!!" I yelp, tasting the blood. I reach up to touch my nose, and the van hits a bump. We all bounce, and I fall over onto Kari.
"Get off of me, freak!" She says, pushing me away.
"Whatever...." I tell her before falling asleep again. I only have 2 questions.....
1.) When will we get where we're going,
2.) How many other people have been hurt, back at the hotel???
~Zoey~
Zack and Me are standing on the balcony of the hotel, over-looking the fights. We're definitely not the best fighters, which is why we're up here. I had just witnessed one of my friends being dragged away, and I'm not too fond of that. Which means, I REALLY want to kick some hunter butt.
"Hey! You two, over there!" We look over, and there's a hunter running at us, pointing a finger and flailing his arms. Man, what a moron. Can he make it any MORE obvious that he wants to capture us????
"He looks really stupid," Zack leans over and whispers to me. I smile.
"Yeah, I know! Hey, you think we could like, talk him to death??" Zack snorts.
"Hey, if anyone can do it, you can." He says nudging me. THe hunter runs up to us.
"I was TALKING to you!" He said, glaring menacingly at us. I lean onto the balcony rail, and tilt my head.
"You were? I had NO idea...... I'm sorry to have ignored you." He looks taken aback, and ZAck starts to talk.
"Yeah, we didn't notice you.... I'm Zack, that's Zoey.... You are??" The hunter, who is gasping for breath, tilts his head at us.
"I'm Bob, and I really need to capture you..... so could you like, stay put?" He says.
"Huh..... I don't think I will!" I say, and then change topics. "Hey! Ya'know, the other day I saw some guy who looked just like you!"
"Yeah, he totally did!" Zack chimes in...
"Anyways, I was all like, 'hey!' and he was a like 'hey!' and I was like, 'you look familiar', and he was like, 'no way, you do too'!" I say, and Bob looks thoroughly creeped out.
"And then I was all like, 'You have really pretty eyes!' and he was like, 'OMG! you do too!' and I was like, 'Thanks!'" Zack trails off, and we both grin. Our plan was working.
Bob had walk backwards, ended up falling over the banister. We run up to the edge to walk him fall.
"Oops! Sorry, Bob!" We call together. There was an ear-splitting crack as he hits the ground.
Colette and Lucy, who were fighting some other guy, looked at Bob, then up at us. I wave, and they nod.
Me and Zack walk away from the railing, into our bedroom. We high-five, and Zack smiles.
"They said we couldn't fight." He says.
"I know right!" I say back. I smirk, and he does too.
I LOVE my younger brother, and we TOTALLY kicked butt, 'cause only we can talk people to the death.
