I wait for Ren to catch up to me, then grab his hand and pull him in the direction we're heading.
"Lets go kick some butt!" I shout, then laugh. Ren shakes his head and smiles at me.
"You seem waaay to happy, Ya'know that?" he asks, and playfully shoves me. I laugh and shove him back.
"Hey, you know how to do more than shove people, right Jethro?" Ren asks, a flash of concern on his face. "i mean, if that's all you can do, it might be pretty bad."
I Roll my eyes. "You saw me jump off the 2nd floor balcony.... I can do more than just shove people." I spin around to face him, walking backwards.
"Anyways, I'll have you to help, right?" I say. He nods.
"Oh! Uhhh, Jeth-" he points behind me, and I crash into something. Actually, more like someone!
I roll over to the side, and then look at the person I hit. It was a girl with platinum blonde hair and really pretty orange eyes. She looked about 15.
I stand, then offer my hand out to her. She glares at me, then gets up on her own.
" I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going..." I say to the girl. She didn't look to happy with me. After an awkwardly staring at each other for a few minute, I spoke.
" Hey, I'm Jethro.... This," I motion at Ren, "Is Ren." Ren waves and we both smile.
"Paloma." Shes says. She doesn't look to talkative, and I hope I'm not bothering her too much. I mean, what else are you supposed to do but talk to complete strangers in the freezing cold?
"Cool! Nice name. I'm a German Shepard halfer.... You are?" I say. i expect her to answer, but then Ren speaks.
"I'm a shark halfer." She continues to stare at us, and I look down at my self to make sure I still look presentable. Ren pulls me a few feet away from Paloma, then whispers to me.
"Hey, I though you said that was dangerous." He says, glancing at me suspiciously.
" Yeah, it is dangerous, but I can tell shes a halfer." I glance back at her, and find that shes looking at us intently.
"How??" Ren asks, looking back at her.
"You can faintly see her markings." I motion for us to go back to Paloma, and he follows.
"Don't worry." I say. "We're good guys." Ren snorts when I say this, and I glare at him.
" We have a whole group with us, traveling to Harmony. I can fill you in some other time, but we're kinda under attack at the moment." I pause, and she goes to say something.
" I'm a whippet- border Collie mix." She says quietly. I gasp, then smile.
"One of my best friends is a border collie halfer!" I say. I haven't met anyone with the slightest bit of Border in them since I last saw him, so meeting her is kinda cool.
"No!" I hear someone shout. We turn towards the hotel, and I gasp.
"that's right!" I say. I look at Ren, and he nods.
"We need to go." I say to Paloma. " I'm a dog halfer, and that's who the hunters are looking for. I've gotta fight." She looks at me, her eyes wide, and I realize what I said. Shes a dog halfer, too. I grab Ren's hand again, out of old habit, and we take off towards the hotel.
"So," he says as we run ahead. 'whats the plan?"
"Uh..... we don't really have one, actually." Paloma, who was running with us, looks at me.
"You don't have a plan?" She says. I'm about to say something back when I see a hunter behind her.
"Get down!" I say. She drops to the snow and I fly over her, landing on the dude. Man, I really hate hunters. Some others have noticed whats going on, and circled the 3 of us. I kick one upside the head, while Ren punches the other in the nose. Paloma looks at us, and I mouth stay down! at her. She nods, and then tries to blend in with the snow. Ren starts moving backwards, away from her. I do the same, and hope it buys her some time. I get quickly surrounded by hunters, who don't look too happy.
"hey, what do we have here?" One asks, pulling out a knife. I draw back and slam right into another one of them. I glance around, and find that each of the have a weapon.
I look at Ren and see hes in the same situation, except with less weapons.
'so, what do you half into?" Another dude asks. I grin.
"what do you think?" I say. I go into a kick, but end up getting slashed with a knife.
"Ugh!" I cry out, as as knife hits my leg. I look down to see my left leg cut and bleeding. They get closer in, and i freak.
" Hey, you know, I don't like confined spaces... so if you could just like... ah!" I wince as a knife slashes across my stomach. Another punches me hard, right in the ribs. I SWEAR, I think he broke some. I try to find a way out, and I see an opeing, just big enough for my to dart through in dog form. I shift, and they gasp.
I run/limp ('cause of my leg) through the hole, trying to make a break for it. I'm able to spot Ren, who had just taken down another hunter. I feel a flying dagger hit one of my legs, and I go down. At the same time, a gunshot goes off, and a bullet hits me square in my shoulder.
"Ah1' i whimper as I lay on the ground, the world spinning. I feel my self shift back into human form, and a hunter grabs me at the nape of my neck. I struggle slightly as they pick me up.
"Paloma! Ren! Run for it!" I shout as I get further away.
"Shut up!" the hunter barks, squeezing my neck harder. He walks over to a van, opens the door, and tosses me in.
"Ouch!" I hear someone, I think Echo, whisper as I land on her.
"Sorry...." I say.... strange enough, Kari and Claudia are the two I think of right as I lose consciousness.

I'm sorry this was SUCH a long post! I do love posting...... Oh! And a new part from Jethro's past came up.... bwahahahahahahahaha!

“I don’t know but we’re in trouble.” Echo barked at me.
“Why do you say that? Ice, Shadow, and Nanuke are going to rescue us. We’re a pack they wouldn’t just abandon us.” I stated with up most confidence.
Quite suddenly Echo started attacking the wall of the cage. She was making herself bleed.
“Echo, weren’t you wearing a collar earlier?” I barked noticing it's absence.
She tilted her head, “It must have torn off when I was struggling.” She muttered, “It’s probably in the snow.”
I waged my tail, “That’s great, I just hope they find it; along with tracks that’ll give them a stronger scent to follow." I yipped like a puppy, wishing I could move.
“I guess you’re right; since escaping on our own is currently impossible.” She responded. I could smell lots of blood on the air. Echo through back her head and howled.
"Umm, Echo, this'll sound kinda selfish, but could you bite through this rope? It's starting to hurt," I whimpered, smelling blood from where my paws were tied together.

Why had it happened now? Why while Echo was alone?
I changed into a wolf and darted to Ice and Nanuke's room(killing a couple of the hunters as I went). "Ice, I think Echo was taken by the hunters," I howled as I ran in on the two of then in there wolf forms.
"Shadow, I'd bet they got Kallik too, she's not the smartest dog in the pack." he growled back at me, clearly in a weirs mood than before. "We'll get them back." He promised with a threatening under tone.

Attention al cf contributors due to my evercramped schedule I have been unable to post correctly.Fortunately I have worked a deal with rain to keep me posted in this world.I have given her a 90-10 split on the points where she takes the most for posting when I can't and I only take 10% for character ownership.I am not leaving this world in case you wonder.I have merely figured a way out to keep Zero and Kiyoko in the story while remaining here.Anyways I hope this clears up any confusion.Thank you for your time.
