~Kari~
As the mutt ran away, far away, I thought I heard something downstairs. I ran to the staircase to get a look, only to find a shark halfer. (She can smell him!)
The two talked, but I never attacked the mutt yet.
There was a movement inside, and then hunters started to pour out. “Get all the dogs! All of them! don't leave a single one!”
I jumped from the banister to tackle the two guards that ran in.
I easily sidestepped their attacks, and soon they were unconscious—I had a huge policy about not killing enemies who could be useful. Claudia took care of some of the remaining guards.
“A cat!”
A girl’s voice seemed to beat the noise of the battle.
I turned into a cat, praying to be able to get away. But instead, I was picked up and locked away.
~Claudia~
A hunter got to Kari and forced her to turn into a cat. I kicked the guy I had in a not very pleasant place.
He fell down to the ground, looking like he was going to die.
“Kari!”
Prince joined the fight, killing some of the other hunters in this room. I kept attacking more and more, taking out my anger on them.
Kari seemed to only get farther as I kept attacking—the girl was slowly moving away.
I tried to get to her, but they all ran in different directions to get other halfers. It caused confusion for both me and Prince, and I couldn’t figure out where the girl with Kari went, and I just gave up.
“We have to get to her!” I screamed at myself.
The fox just watched as I cried. He ran down one hall for no reason, and I followed.

Pierce -
Abby was now leaning entirely against the wall, and she sneezed again, "Bless you." I answered immediately.
"Thanks.." Abby coughed, then looked a little alarmed.
Gods, what did I do? I got her sick...! I felt like punching myself, but sighed. I felt her head softly again, "Abby, I really think you're sick. Come on, you should lay down and rest...I'll look after you, okay?" I insisted gently.
Abby began to shake her head, "N-no...I-I'm really okay."
I was about to object when I saw a large shadow loom at the end of the hall. It wasn't Zar...he had passed by quite a while ago. There was no one else that big...I let my instincts take over.
"Shit." I murmured softly, then quickly picked Abby up and swiftly ran into the closest room, closing and locking it silently.
I put Abby down on the bed, and was immediately standing with my back against the door. I stuck my head out the door, and my eyes were greeted with a large mountain of a man.
His eyes met mine, and he immediately charged me, pulling out a bat and grinning evilly. Shit.
I sighed, tossing my dagger and watching in land neatly, but deeply, into his heart, killing him quickly before he could say a word. Pitiful--I had faced lemurs scarier than him.
I flew back inside the room after watching the man fall with a large thud and seeing more shadows heading along toward the hallway to investigate.
Abby was looking terribly scared, and quivering on the bed. I didn't know if it was fear or the fever, but she looked badly shaken.
I hurried over to her and smiled a little, "Abby, listen to me, okay? For some reason, we're under ambush. Something is going on--I don't like it, and it looks like things'll be getting messy. You just need to rest, okay? I'll take care of it." I tried to look upbeat when I grinned at her and gave her a thumbs up. The truth was, I was worried as hell. I had seen this group, and some halfers weren't meant for combat, and these people didn't seem prone to fooling around.
Abby's eyes widened, "Pierce--What's going on?"
I shrugged, my eyebrows furrowing, "I really don't know. Just...Stay put, okay? You'll be fine." I smiled, then rushed out of the door, closing it inaudibly.
I looked at the fallen man. He now had three men hovering over him. They hadn't heard me leave the room, so they'd have no idea where I came from. They wouldn't find Abby. Perfect.
I faked a sneer, feigning fearlessness, and pulling a few wooden knives out of my pocket. Good thing doors weren't my only specialty.
"Oi, idiots!" I called nonchalantly, just loud enough for them to hear, "Over here." I waved as they looked over slowly, eyes crossing as they broke their brains trying to figure out where I came from.
Wow. Real Einsteins, I supposed.
I threw a knife into the center of one's throat, leaving him to writhe and fall in silence.
"Well?" I goaded, as understanding struck them and they got up, readying their weapons.
With a little shock I assessed them. One had a bat--Geez, what a shock. The other had a pistol. Oh...Crap.
See, after years of practice, I have adequate reflexes and can throw and fight decently...Dodging? Not so much.
I gritted my teeth, throwing two knives simultaneously at them, and watching one get struck in the shoulder and the other remain unscathed as the knife missed.
Ugh, this sucked! I was about to attack again when a few guards rushed by carrying a familiar face. I immediately recognized her as the girl who had always hung around Abby. Alissa.
They were taking her away. Why? What the hell?!
My eyes widened, and I couldn't help but yell out, "Alissa!" as the guards ran out of sight. I was about to run after them, but found a large, hideously muscled man on top of me, bat at the ready.
I avoided what must have been a lethal blow at my skull and stabbed him in the throat, and then heart for good measure.
I jumped out from under him, and was about to laugh when my left arm and shoulder got pierced with things that felt suspiciously like bullets. I looked at my arm. Yep. I got shot.
I stood there for a moment, wondering why it didn't hurt, but then staggered back as it hit me that, I was, indeed, in pain.
I yelped, but stopped myself from reaction any further and got rid of him as quickly as possible.
I stood, panting slightly. I looked at my bleeding arm...I'll be damned. I got shot. Twice.
It hurt, too. Just as bad as it did a few years ago when some jerk on the street by some wannabe mugger.
I tried to shrug it off, and rushed back into the room where Abby was resting.
I found her sitting up, looking frantically at the door, and relaxing slightly when she saw me emerge from the hallway.
Her eyes widened again when she saw my left arm, "You...You're bleeding! Your arm..."
I forced a little smile, "I'm fine, Abby. I've had worse." I assured.
"B...But, you were shot! Your arm looks horrible!"
"No, it doesn't. It's only a flesh wound."
"Pierce...!"
"Abby, I've got to go back out there, anyway, I'll be fine, okay?" I attempted.
Abby frowned, her eyebrows furrowing deeply, "Why?" she demanded.
"I saw Alissa get taken away by them, and someone's gotta get her back. I don't know what they're doing, but I've gotta help the group!"

Hope that was okay. ^^;
Pierce is used to having to kill people, unfortunately. He's lived in the lowest of the low places in the world, and has picked up a few things.
Kasumi~
I was getting really sick of this whole Aditi, Shiroi business, so I stood up and said, "Whatever. It's not like I've really got a say, so I'm taking a walk."
Tamotsu stood up and whispered, "Kasumi..."
Then as I reached the door, an armed man burst into the room and was quite surprised to see me right before him.
Before he raised his weapon, I smacked his head into the door frame.
"More people trying to kill or capture us?!" I laughed in a crazy way, "When will this end?!"
Then I stood in teh door as more men tried to enter.
I didn 't kill them, just knocked them out with powerful punches and kicks.
Tamotsu ran up beside me but I blocked him and said, "No, go with the others out the window. Go!"
He hesitated then ran back and grabbed Shiori who looked pretty confused.
Then when Io had transformed outside the window and Dani, Tamotsu, and Shiori had clambered on her back, I knocked out one last guy and kicked the door close, quickly locking it.
Then I sprinted and jumped out the window, transforming in mid-air to land in Tamotsu's hand.

Tamotsu~
I looked at Shiori who looked confused as heck and then Kasumi in the palm of my hand.
Why did everything happen so quickly?
Then ironically enough a rather large net snared us and Io began to plummet towards the ground.
I held onto Kasumi tightly and pushed myself closer to Io's back as we descended towards the earth.
As soon as we crash landed, Kasumi jumped out of my hand and morphed back to a human.
She then drew her sword and began slashing at the net.
"It's. Not. Working!" cried Kasumi with each swing of her blade.
I picked up part of the net and found that it was in fac an odd metal. Who had invented such a flexible yet strong metal?
When we heard voices approaching, I ran over to Kasumi and whispered, "Change back and crawl through the net."
She hissed back, "I won't abandon anyone."
I shook my head and whispered, "You're no help to us inside this thing."
She wasn't happy but transformed and barely slipped through the netting.
Then the humans confronted us.

Rika agreed to sharing a room with me with a blush entwined in her cheeks, and we both went over to Sky, who was a bit skeptical about giving us a key, but did give us one in reluctance and then went to talk to somebody else and we both headed up to our room and on the way, I could've sworn I smelled blood in the air... and the person who had been bleeding was dead...
Once we got into the room, Rika immediately told me she was going to rest for a bit, plopped down on the bed, and immediately went to sleep. I smiled. She looked cute when she was asleep. The red box in my pocket wasn't feeling as heavy as it had been before, but just being here with Rika was perfect... I didn't want anything to happen to her.
Going into the bathroom, I splashed myself with cold water to wake up and once I did that, I took off my jacket and shirt and looked at the bandages underneath. There was only dried blood on them, so I tore them off and just saw a new scar in place of where the wound had been. So it had completely healed... that's good.
Once I had gotten back on my shirt and my jacket, that's when I smelled blood and heard some crashing of glass from the lobby. I rushed out of the bathroom and opened up the door and I could see people rushing out of their rooms and going downstairs. That's when I smelled the hunters. Damn. How could I not smell them before?
I rushed back into the room and shook Rika's shoulder to get her awake.
“We have to get out of here,” I told her quietly but urgently once she woke up. Rika sat up, realizing the scents around her, and rushed for the door, but I grabbed her arm. I didn't want to lose her. Not now. Not again and so soon.
“I won’t risk losing you,” I told Rika and she hesitated while looking at the floor.
“I’m sorry,” Rika told me and ran out the door. I stood there stunned for a few seconds before I chased after her. What was she doing? She knew that I didn't want to lose her.
I saw Rika fighting in her halfer form as I transformed into my halfer form. She just nodded and she continued to fight, I joining her. I made sure to keep by her the whole time as I killed as much as I could of hunters. Both Rika and I got a few scratches as we continued to fight alongside the other halfers.
Without me noticing, I saw Rika get knocked out by a hit a hunter had given her with the back of his gun and I growled loudly, getting his attention and some others that were about to get Rika in a cage. I clawed out all of them that were there, and once I did, I went over to Rika and nudged her a little with my nose.
She was still breathing as she transformed into her human form unconsciously, and I transformed back into my human form, picked her up, and went out with a huge bunch of halfers who were watching some of the halfers being taken away with all of the hunters, or at least we think all of them, being dead inside the hotel.
That's when I smelled Luna not far off, and a lot of other halfers, with Rika stirring in my arms.

I hope that was okay ^-^;;;; I hope it's okay that Luna's coming with a bunch of other halfers to help everybody get back everybody that was taken ^-^;;; I just kind of skipped to the end of the fight ^-^;;;; Sorries ^-^;;;;;
