~Jake
Kasumi didn't reply as we got further on in the walking, but the cow hardly got annoying as he was more when he bent down to me when he wanted to pick up his door once again. I snarled at him as he talked to me.
"Listen, I don't know what you want--honestly, I don't care, either. I just know, you're not here for Harmony," I stiffened slightly. "Hey, easy there, twitchy! Shh, okay? I don't believe, either. I have my motives, you have yours, just make yourself believable before they leave your hide out to decay with the rest of the useless carcasses in the world. No one will pity you, and you're already under suspicion for revenge. I will say this once, and once alone: If you are a traitor, I probably still won't care about what you do, just don't touch the little brown timber wolf. Maki is mine, and if another annoying animal tries to hurt her, I will kill them: in this case, that's you. So chin up, put your heart into the act, and do whatever you joined us to do. Hey, make some friends, enjoy the perks, relax, if ya do it right, you might have a good time. I'll always be willing to talk to you, and hey, who knows, maybe we'll be friends? Good luck," the cow, I think his name Pierce from what I could hear, said swiftly and I just glared at him. So this cow had figured me out, besides him patting me on the head which annoyed me more, and he knew I had a motive, and I thought after a while of him just standing there and I going on my own, that he was right.
Being mad wasn't going to solve the problem, even though I thought it would in the back of my head, and showing what I was and how annoyed people could get me and how I would kill them wasn't going to help. I go with the act, I show it through my heart like the cow said, and possibly, get people on my side with the nice act. I knew nobody in their right minds would be my friend. Who would? I haven't had a friend since I was five.
Getting ahead of the cow, I went up to that leader, Sky or whatever her name was, and transformed back into human while I had the chance before Pierce started back on the doors.
"Sky, don't you think we ought to park somewhere for the night, like a cave or something? We won't get that far with this snow coming down on us, and it seems some people already want to rest. Why don't we rest for the night, and I can hunt for everybody? After all, I got a good nose, and I've got huge claws. Why not?" I put on a smile, a nice looking one for what I hoped, as Pierce came back and started to put doors on my head once again.
Sky thought it over and looked back at me with a smile.
"Sure, if you don't mind, and maybe you could find us a cave?" Sky asked and I nodded with a smile.
"Sure." So I shook off the door, transformed back into my animal form, and bounded off to find a cave, with the unruly, disgusting smile come off my face.

Continue? And did I get Sky right?
Pierce -
God, I loved people! Well ... Y'know ... sorta ... some of the group's ... people ... I loved ... ish ...
Ah, whatever! Screw that idea, I didn't really love them, so much as I loved messing with them! Yep. Better.
I kept my solemn mask in place, with the occasional smirk, as I continued balancing the doors on Jake's head, as he spoke with Kasumi, Tamosu and Io watching like hawks. He was now much scarier than before, since he was in his lion form. For example, the waves of annoyance were much stronger, and his tail was flicking angrily...His bared teeth didn't help, either.
I wanted to laugh out loud, but I settled for lightening my stone stare; Kasumi had done quite a number on his patience! His perfect little composure was crackling and about to snap...After all, the baring of his...sharp...murderous teeth, was supposed to be a smile.(Okay--shut up! Lions are freakin' scary--just shut up!)
When he had ranted about Harmony to Kasumi...that had firmed my suspicion. He didn't buy any of this Harmony crap, his voice screamed it. He was in it for the ulterior motive, whatever it was to him.
I didn't judge him, though. For two reasons: One, I had no idea what his motive was, so I couldn't just put him down as a bad guy--and, two: I didn't believe in Harmony, either. How could I--when almost all I've seen of this world had been darkness before now?
Tch. Lion-boy was gonna screw over his own chances of fitting in if he kept up his 'Yes!-Yes,-I-believe-in-Harmony-you-idiots,-so-leave-me-alone-before-I-break-you' attitude. He was being watched too sharply to afford such a mistake. If no one noticed he was faking it, they were gonna unless someone told him to shape up!
I waited patiently for the door to fall from his head, and as I picked it up, I made it a point to whisper in his ear as I lent down to get the door, so that no one would notice I was talking--or even hear me.
"Listen, I don't know what you want--honestly, I don't care, either. I just know, you're not here for Harmony." I saw him stiffen slightly, "Hey, easy there, twitchy! Shh, okay? I don't believe, either. I have my motives, you have yours, just make yourself believable before they leave your hide out to decay with the rest of the useless carcasses in the world. No one will pity you, and you're already under suspicion for revenge. I will say this once, and once alone: If you are a traitor, I probably still wont care about what you do, just don't touch the little brown timber wolf. Good luck." I said it all swiftly and precisely, pretending to look for the door to buy more time before patting his head and placing the door back on his head.
I watched him as turned his head and gave me a glare, my guess would be that he wasn't liking being bossed around or patted, but he wasn't going to say anything, so I guess he understood. My reply was to put another door on his head and grin good-naturedly, raising my hands as if to say, 'No hard feelings, I have nothing against you'. He looked away from me. Oh, well.
I looked around, and though people were staring at me (wondering what the hell the 'crazy cow halfer' was doing, no doubt) no one seemed to have heard what I had said to Jake. Perfect.
Kasumi, Tamotsu, and Io--the ones who I were most worried about hearing--were only shocked that I had gone as far as to smile at him and pat his head. Heh, they didn't know that I had no common sense. Hell, if you're going to be prey among carnivores, you had to be able to ignore your instincts.
I lost myself in frivolous thought, then. I began wondering about the sanity of sand. Why did it remain so commonly near the waters? What was it's excuse for sitting upon the rocky shores, constantly being worn away by the treacherous water that tore it apart even more with every caress?
Does it never tire of such an existence? Being known only in reference to it's abusive lover, the sea? Being walked upon and molded to another's preference merely because it can be molded? Why go through the constant torture, only for the comfort of the constantly changing ocean, who always expects and forces the changes upon the sand?
And to always be thought of as foreign when it was away from it's angry love! To be seen and scorned in the deserts, as a torture, as a punishment! All of this because it chose to get away from it's eroding counterpart! There's no respect for the suffering sand, who always will yearn for the sea, and when it does get it, is worn apart and changed until it's unrecognizable...Why? Why the poor sand? Why--
And, I was suddenly tackled by a very, very playful Ice. I fell to the lightly snow-covered ground, my eyes meeting the wolf's for a moment before I grinned, calling out, "Aha! Fine, Ice, it's on!" thusly proceeding to roll around playfully with Ice until he rolled off , his eyes bright and his tail wagging.
I grinned and laughed, "And what," I raised an eyebrow, "was that for?" I managed out between my laughter.
Ice grinned, too. "That, was me saving your life."
It clicked in my head what he meant, and whined jokingly, "Aw! That means Lion-Boy got away, huh?" I lowered my head, feigning sadness, but still laughing, "You think he was really gonna attack me?"
"Did you not see the look in his eyes? I knew he was going to!" He smiled.
I snickered, "Yeah, probably. But now I just have to hunt him down and continue." I gave Ice a mischievous grin before I looked up and saw Maki laughing quietly to herself. "Maaaakkiiiii~!"
Maki walked over, "Hm?" she smiled down at me.
"Help me up, Maki! It's cold and wet..." I gave her puppy eyes until she extended her hand and brought me to my feet.
"You're such a baby." she chided, brushing me off. "I swear, can't you take care of yourself?" Maki continued, still smiling.
I snorted, smiling, "Only sometimes."
Maki shivered, transforming into a wolf, "Geez...How can you stand being out in the snow with your outfit?! It's so cold!"
I hummed, "Y'know? I really have no idea. Being a cow doesn't do much against the cold, so, I'm sort of stuck, anyway." I shrugged.
"Uhm...H-Hello..." a small thirteen-year-old girl quietly walked up to us.
Maki gave me a very stern glare that said, 'do not torment her--she has done nothing wrong'. So I sighed. Feh. Boring.
Ah, well, whatver. "Hey." I raised one hand in greeting.
"Hello." Maki bowed, smiling shyly.
I left them to talk while I went to go bug Jake some more. I couldn't help it--it was too fun.

Woo! Hope I got everyone's personalities right!Sorry about the long rant about sand--I just want to accentuate how completely eccentric Pierce's mind can get. XD
I watched the group from the right. There was a commotion in the group after we started walking. A cow-halfer was putting something on the new lion-halfer. They looked like little mini doors. I turned my attention to Abby. She was looking up at the sky. I looked up too and saw glorious white flakes coming from the sky. A smile came on my face. I love the snow. Abby was slightly shivering. I transformed into my snow leopard form. Abby looked at my fur.
"Abby why don't you transform too," I said, pawing the snow, "you can lay on top of me if you want."
Abby transformed and sat on my shoulder. I looked at the snow as if it were candy. I looked at the group again. A lot of the group seemed to be looking at the new lion-halfer. "I wish I new more people," I said to Abby.
"Me too," she agreed. I rubbed my nose into the snow. I started to run ahead of the group. After I was almost ahead of them all, I sat down in the snow, watching them all. It felt good to be with people, even though I didn't know them to well. I moved my tail back and forth, feeling the light flakes moving out of the way from my tail. Abby trying to get snow off of her feathers, but it wasn't going very well. I turned my head and started moving the snow off with my nose.
"Thanks," she mumbled. After the snow was off of Abby, some of the group had passed. I watched them walk by, some of them transformed. I noticed Abby was watching them too.
"Abby," I said, "go and talk with some of the people, make some new friends."
"Sure," Abby said. She flew off my shoulders and transformed back. Slightly shivering she walked into the group, looking a little shy.
I looked around, everything was white. I jumped into the snow and rolled around in it. After I felt like I should be done, I shook the snow off of my back.
Continue?
I hope I did okay....
Alissa loves snow, in case you haven't noticed
Sorry it's so short

"Il neige" Echo muttered as we moved back to the others. I looked up into the sky. Echo laughed as snow speckled my hair. "We better hurry." I said back to her. We sprinted after the group, fallowing there sent.
I began to loose there sent in the snow so I changed into my wolf form. I instantly had a much better sent of the others. "Echo, it's warmer as a wolf," I barked to her. She hesitated, but than changed into a wolf. My ears pricked, she was a beautiful wolf.
At last we cot up to the others. I fell in with Ice and his two female friends who were in the animal forms as well. Ice wasn't looking at anyone in the group of wolves we were traveling in at the moment. Fallowing his eyes I spotted the cow halfer from earlier bothering a lion halfer with mini doors.
I tilted my head, where had those doors come from? Ice suddenly dropped behind us. He winked at the arctic wolf than diapered. I sighed and looked at the cow again. Suddenly Ice out of nowhere jumped on him. The two rolled on the ground until Ice rolled off and dropped down the front of his body with his tail waging in the are.

Ice is trying to stop Pierce before Jack attacks him, but it may be taken differently. Shadow is watching throw the snow.

I was looking around me and debating about whether to turn to my animal form or not when I heard footsteps behind me and I had a feeling who it was. My ears dropped. How much now can I be annoyed to death?
"Hey, buddy!" I heard that Sorcid halfer yell and wrap her arm around which made me yelp slightly like a cat and then hiss at the rat, I think her name Kasumi, and then made my heart beat all but fast along with the wind.
"What?!" I exclaimed in a yell back and she laughed and I shook off the next door on my head and I moved a little bit away from Kasumi. I knew my heart wouldn't calm down now, especially since I was still tired and worn out from the fight, which I was still willing to put up, just not right now.
"So, what's on your mind, buddy?" Kasumi exclaimed with a loud voice and I just stared at her. What was wrong with her?
"Why should it be any of your business?" I exclaimed back to her and she just laughed and I was again debating if I should hurt this rat or not.
"I thought you wanted revenge!" Kasumi then looked at me with a serious face and I rolled my eyes. It made me wonder how long I would have to have this act on until I actually got my revenge. I put on a smile for Kasumi.
"Who said I was wanting revenge?" I laughed. "Even if I said that long ago, I'm not hell bent on it now! Why should something like that matter now? All that matters is getting to Harmony, right?" That's when I looked at Kasumi with a malicious smile and made sure to see what I actually meant in my eyes.
"Right?" I repeated and then I put on a fake smile and a shiver ran down my spine, so I transformed into my animal form with the cow halfer continuing to put mini doors on my head and Kasumi giving me a dirty look.
I smelled lion off in the distance, recognized it as the woman from just yesterday before she left with her cubs after I had taken care of her and she left, and hoped she wouldn't recognize my scent at all and I continued walking as I waited for Kasumi's reply.

Basically if anybody jumps up or surprises Jake, he goes crazy for a few seconds, which was basically what he just did. XDDD
Did I get Kasumi right?
