As the wind started to blow and the snow came down, I pulled my (still in cosplay) Kurogane cloak around me tighter, and let my hair down in hopes that it would keep some of the wind and snow off the back of my neck and warm my head. When I heard that Sky planned to keep going, I was hoping that continual movement would keep my legs warm in the tight pants.
All the sudden, I felt a lot warmer, and there was white fluff at the edges of my vision. I looked over to see Fai had scooted closer to me and wrapped the fluffy cloak around me, holding it closed, so that we both peaked out the hood with the end trailing behind us. Looking over at him so close, I blushed deeply. Actually, that felt good, with the blood in my cheeks, keeping them warm.
The snow was thick in the air. I could no longer see the people in the front. The best I could do was follow the animals right in front of me. All ready, snow was piling up on the ground, and the soft crunch of snow came from my feet. Withing minutes the snow was up the sides of my feet, dangerously threatening to cover them. How long could we really keep going?
.:Hana and Fai:.
AW! SO CUTE! Kind of a random post, but I haven't posted in a while, so I figured I might as well. Anyone can talk or slip in their cloak tail. Its really long, so its probably tailing a few feet behind them. ^_~

I looked back over my shoulder and watched everyone follow me away from the convention before turning my attention towards the sky. The weather had seemed to changed since we set out, and not for the better it looks like.
“Are you sure we should be taking this way?” David questioned as he walked beside me with Sora off somewhere else. I shrugged, “How the heck should I know? I don’t watch the news.” He rolled his eyes.
“Look, a little water never hurt anyone.” I snapped at him and quickened my pace so he couldn’t keep asking questions.
But I couldn’t put it out of my head that the clouds just kept thickening when I heard someone suddenly, “Hay look! It’s snowing!” everyone’s attention snapped up to look at the clouds and sure enough, the small white flakes were falling from the sky.
“But, this time of year, it’s not supposed to snow, is it?” I heard someone ask. I nodded in agreement, I thought it wasn’t going to snow for a few months yet, but I couldn’t deny the white precipitation that fell now.
Sighing I shrugged, as long as it didn’t start snowing much harder, I think we could make it to where we could find some cover.

Leaning agents Moon we continued to walk as the snow fell softly at first, but soon the wind started to blow and snow started to come down harder and harder. People were huddled into small groups, no longer in the happy mood they were in when it all started.
“Are you alright, Rika?” I heard Moon ask softly, though even though we were close he was barely audible in the snow storm.
I smiled, “I’m fine.” But the temperature certainly had dropped and I was starting to get tired. Looking up I realized some of the halfers were in their animal form. Smart, I thought and morphed as well.
Looking to my side, Moon had joined me. It might have been cold and snowing, but right now was also perfect. I could feel the heat of Moon as I pressed myself agents him and we kept walking.

As Ariel walked to the others I felt the shadows in my mind begin to rage.I couldn't keep myself from feeling a little pained by all of this.I turned and faced Kiyoko.
"Kiyoko listen.About what happend in the past-"I was cut off.
"Zero stop."said Kiyoko,"I'm not mad."
"What?'I asked with a somewhat surprised expression.
Kiyoko turned her gaze from mine.
"the day you left the streets was a hard day for me."said Kiyoko,"But I swallowed my depression and decided to try and search for you."
"I was taken in by my sensei that day."I said.
"I know."she said,"I followed your scent to a village where they said an elderly man had taken in a stray halfer and taught him.But when I got there it was too late. You had left."
"I'm sorry but it was my masters wish for me to start my work as an assassin."I said looking away.
She turned back to me and I could feel that she wanted to cry but she hid it with a small smile.
"After that I continued to follow where your scent led me until I found you here."she said,"At first I thought I was just misunderstanding things but when I saw you my pain immediately disappeared."
Suddenly she leaned forward and wrapped her arms around me in a hug.
"Kiyoko."I said in a small shock.
"I understand that you have someone else you love but I just missed you so much."she said as her tears finally made their way out,"I was just so happy to see that you were still alive."
As I watched her cry into my chest I felt remorse for sscaring her for so long.I wrapped my arms around her to comfort her.
"I'm sorry for putting you through all this."I said.
Finally she stepped away rubbing her eyes.
"Now go."she siad smiling,"Your friends are waiting."
I turned and saw everyone waiting for me to finish up.I stared to walk towards them but stopped after two steps.
"Kiyoko come with us."I said.
"Huh?"asked Kiyoko.
"Come with us."I said turning around and smiling<"Lets search for Harmony together. And along the way you might find someone new to love."
Kiyoko was silent for a second.
"Okay."she said finally breaking the silence,"I'd love that."
I took her hand and quickly ran to the others.I was happy that she understood how I felt about Ariel and that she and I would always be friends.I think I'm starting to finally see the light at the end of my dark tunnel.

Kiyoko and Zero were obviously close, but I couldn't be mad at him. He didn't deserve that. What I wanted more than anything for things to be as they had been, perfect. Kiyoko was a part of Zero's past, and I accepted that.
"Look, Zero, the others are calling us, I think we should go." I told him, glancing over my shoulder at the others who wanted to leave. Asuka was trying to give us privacy, but it was obvious she wanted us to hurry up. Zero stood there as if unsure what to do. "I accept you no matter what, Zero. You should know this. So, when you figure out what you want, you can come find me. I'm going to go on ahead with Asuka. Catch up with us later."
With that, I turned and hurried to Asuka's side. I hated putting him in that situation, but he needed to figure things out on his own with no pressure from me. Once we were all moving again, Asuka started in about Ben. I remembered meeting him in the mountains, but not much else, and my mind was a little distracted at the moment, so it was hard for me to concentrate on what Asuke was telling me.
"Ariel, are you ok?" she asked me suddenly.
I shook my head. "Ya, I'm find. It'll be ok. So, you like Ben, huh?" I asked her quietly so no one else would hear.
She blushed a deep red. "Kinda." When I raised my eyebrows at her, she bowed her head. "I do a lot. But, you can't tell him!"
"If I don't tell him, how will he know?" I asked her, walking in step, glancing over at the guy we were talking about. He was sneaking glances her way as well, and I figured the feelings were being reciprocated.
"I don't know, but I can't tell him! It's so embarrassing!" she gushed.
Ben caught me staring. I smiled and whispered to Asuka. "I know he feels the same about you. Let me go talk to him. I won't say anything to embarrass you." I smiled. Asuka's head shot up, looking over at him, finding him staring at her. She looked away quickly. I smiled at the simplicity of the moment.
Before Asuka could beg me not to, I made my way over to Ben, tapping him on the shoulder to get his attention. He turned around met my gaze. I decided to get straight to the point, no need for pointless chit chat.
"Do you like her?" I asked; he'd know whom I was talking about.
"Uhh..." Ben didn't know how to respond.
"Well?" I pried. These two seemed to really need my help.
Ben sighed. "Can you keep a secret?" he asked like a defeated little boy.
I'm sure my eyes were big as I leaned in, nodding my agreement to not tell anyone.
"Okay but if you tell anybody I swear I'll... Okay the real reason I followed you guys was because after the ... smaller group left the mountains. I couldn't stop thinking about the little foxcoon halfer, Asuka. I don't know why, cuz usually I'm not like that, more...focused i guess, but I don't know, she just ... just..." He sighed embarassed all over again.
I didn't mean to laugh then, but I couldn't help it. "So? Go talk to her!" I didn't even wait for him to respond before I pushed him towards Asuka. Someone needed to light a fire under them. I sighed as I walked, waiting for Zero. What would he do?
~Asuka~
I had secretly hoped Ariel would go talk to Ben, and she had, so it worked out well. I was way too embarrassed to talk to him myself. I walked quietly, my face red with embarrassment as I watched the two of them talking. What was he saying about me? What was she saying about me?
I was so enthralled with the ground beneath my feet that I hadn't heard Ben walking with me until he coughed. My head shot up. "Oh, uh, h-hi, Ben!" I stammered, glancing up at him before averting my eyes again quickly.
"Hey, Asuka," he smiled down at me. Darn it! Why did he seem to be so calm and collected about this and here I was with sweaty palms.
"I missed you!" I found my voice had betrayed me and had shouted it out loudly. I wanted to just die. I hadn't wanted to say that at all. He probably thought I was a blazing idiot. I could hear Ariel chuckling to herself, as were some of the others around us that had heard my stupidity. Great, he probably thought I was annoying now. I wanted to curl up and hide.

Maki - I looked curiously at the new lion halfer, Jake, I think. I looked over at Pierce who was glaring daggers at said lion as we began out long walk to the city.
I tugged at his shirt sleeve, worriedly, "Pierce? What's wrong?"
The more I stared at Pierce's face, the more anxious I got, but not because of his glare, but the mischievous glint within it. He was planning something, and as he looked over at me and winked, grinning for a second, I knew I was right.
Pierce didn't say anything, for the sake of the angry act, of course, but just glared harder at the lion who was now glancing back to see why he felt like he was being stared at.
I looked around silently. Not only Pierce had been staring, but a few other curious eyes were lingering on Jake before swiftly redirecting their stares in fear of being caught. I smiled nervously, they had more common sense than Pierce, who, of course was staring harder.
I looked over him, and noticed, with vague amusement, that he was trying almost impossibly hard not to laugh. He had stepped toward the suspicious lion and was now cocking his head to the side, unblinking in his stature. He put his hand under his chin, feigning deep thought.
I resisted the urge to watch. I really didn't wanna know what he was going to do...
I actually began to walk past them, but stopped at as I heard a loud, indignant and confused, "What're you doing--Hey, get away--What?!"
...
I sighed quietly, then turned around to see Pierce placing a miniature door on to of Jake's head.
...
I blinked hard and looked again. Nope, it was really a door. Doorknob and all, about the size of Pierce's hand. It was being placed upon Jake's head in turn with whenever the lion would knock it off and attempt to demand what in the name of Harmony Pierce was doing.
I walked back toward Pierce and stared at him. I was wondering what he was doing, too. I came in time to see Jake growl and rip the mini-door from his head and break it in half, challenging Pierce to go on with a venomous glare.
Pierce, who had remained stoic and silent throughout this ordeal, looked down at the broken door, and pulled another from his jean pocket, placing it on to the top of Jake's head once more.
Jake seemed to wrestle with an internal argument (probably about whether or not he should just kill Pierce then and there) but, after stealing a glance at some of the other halfers, sighed and walked on, followed by Pierce, who would pick up the door when it would fall off of the lion halfer's head, and place it back neatly.
I decided to ignore the phenomena and fall in step with Pierce, "Pierce...where did you get the miniature doors?" I asked calmly.
He grinned at me for a moment, "I made them." He answered simply.
"...When?"
Pierce shrugged, "I dunno. Whenever, I guess." he caught the door in midair as it fell and placed it on Jake's head again.
I smiled slightly and sighed, deciding not to question him anymore. I didn't wanna know.

....Well. This came from nowhere. Sorry for taunting Jake! DX
He just...was there...
If anyone feels like stopping Pierce, they can, cause otherwise, this may go on and on and on XD
