I waited well I watched the elk come closer...Now! I jumped from my hiding place and tackled the elk. I thrashed and kicked me in the side.
I snarled as it got away.
Rina-Don't stand there!
Koy-I'm going I'm going!
I snarled at her and chased the elk. She was right behind me. I saw the elk again and pounced on its back and pulled it down with my weight. Rina joined soon and bit down on its neck killing it.
Rina-Took you long enough
Koy-Shut up. We killed it right?
Her ears pricked.
Rina-Hear some'en?
Koy-Not with you blab-
Rina shushed me with a swish of her tail.
Rina-Fallow
I did as I was told and followed her.
Rina-Get down!!
She snarled and ducked under a bush. I scampered into tall grass and looked at her confused. She pointed her muzzled up. I looked up and was shocked. I saw 3 large shapes flying toward us and the sound of what seemed to be a whole back leading from the ground.
Rina-Were out numbered. We do not want a fight.
Koy-Says you.
Rina-Split!
She dove out of her cover and ran. I wanted to know what..Or who was coming. I hung back and pressed my self down so I wouldn't be seen.
I saw a big striped dog followed by other animals. I glanced up and it looked like 3 were dragons. Not the usual sight. Rina was right. If I tried to kill any of them they would attack me. They seemed to be in a group.
Once they were out of site I ran back to where the rest of the pack was.
I stopped in front of the pack leader, Baren.
Baren-Koy? What. Your hunt?
Koy-Hunt wha? Never mind the hunt! Humans...Half breeds I think.
Baren snarled.
Baren-Humans and half breeds in our forest! Lead. We chase them out now.
He rose up and the rest of the pack followed.
Koy-The whole pack!?
Baren-Don't underestimate the humans.
He growled. I nodded and ran to where I saw them heading.
Once we found where they were resting I saw they were all humans now...But I was right that they were half breeds too. Baren told the orders and the pack split so we surrounded them.
Baren-On my signal we attack.
He growled at me.
