together again

~Shadow~
I ran after Jessy. We ran down the narrow area between two houses. I could here the dogs fallowing us. We broke out from the small passage and ran for the chain-link fence on the other side of the clearing. I jumped and returned to my human form landing on the fence with Jessy beside me. We climbed the fence and jumped down on the other side. We landed in a wide open field. It was the archery field in town. I knew the dogs couldn't fallow us here they couldn't climb the fence.

"We lost them," Jessy smirked with a smile.

"Ya," I panted back. Suddenly I froze. I could hear something climbing the fence behind us.
~Ice~
I fallowed the black wolf halfer and human over a fence into a large field. I landed lightly in my human form now. I slowly walked closer to them. The wolf halfer noticed me first and was almost instantly between me and the human. "What do you want, and why are you here?" He demanded.

I stepped back. "I don't want to fight," I said.

"Hey Shadow he kinda looks like you," The human called out unexpectedly. Startled I jumped changing into a wolf. Shadow was just staring at me. We stud there in silence.

"Ice," Shadow's voice sounded surprised, "Is that you?"

I ran up to him in response. I didn't really care if I looked like a pup right now.

"Shadow!!!!" I jumped at a human girls scream. "Shadow there's a fire."

"Wait calm down Kiley. What's happening?" Shadow asked, looking worried.

"It's Jake again," The girl Kiley said in a scared voice, "He's trying to burn down your home."

Shadow looked scared. "Jessy will you stay here with Kiley?" he asked the human boy urgently.

"Sure," Jessy responded, "But what about you?"

"I'm sure he'll help me," Shadow said signaling to me. He was right I would help him with anything. I wouldn't leave my brother alone. We toke off running for the fence. We climbed it quickly then landed. We both changed into our wolf forms and ran onto the street, Shadow in the lead.
