I looked around me as the group started to disperse and look around the convention that we came to suddenly. It looked like the humans were dressed up... as us, or some type of animal anyways. Then I saw booths where you could win a stuffed animal or whatever.... I wonder if Rika would like that...
Noticing that Rika was looking at me, I raised my eyebrow and realized she must of said something, and I blinked a few times. I was a little tired from my wounds anyways...
“Did you say something?” I asked her, utterly confused and she almost seemed relived about something. “Sorry… Guess I’m still a little out of it.” Rika frowned for some reason and brought me over to a bench and sat down.
“Is everything alright?” Rika asked and I smiled a little, still a little confused.
“Yeah. Still a little sore, though,” I told her as she tried to smile back but it turned into a straight face and she looked down.
Oh... She must've thought I meant about earlier from the fight and that this was her fault.... I sighed myself as she sighed and I looked over at her and grabbed her hand with a slight smile on my face. She looked up.
“I told you it was fine. Don’t blame your self, Rika,” I told her with a warm smile and standing up, deciding on thought that we should do something else than stand around.
“Now come on! We’re not going to sit here the whole time!” I exclaimed as she beamed happily and followed me over to some booths.
I could see her smiling the whole time as we went to a booth and the woman smiled as she saw us two and then saw me. I rolled my eyes and dug out some small money I had and realized that it was a shooting game. It made me hope Rika wouldn't think anything bad about that...
"Alright, cutie. Let's see how you can do," the woman told me as she held me a rifle and the game started.
On the first try, I got all of the targets and all of the extra points, which was weird. I didn't always shoot guns. I handed the woman back the gun and she smiled at me.
"Pick whichever stuffed animal, handsome," she laughed and I looked over at Rika, who looked uncertain about picking which stuffed animal.
"Pick whichever one you want, Rika," I told her with a warm smile and she smiled a little bit more as she pointed one out and the woman got it down. It was a black leopard. How ironic.
"See you later, cutie," the woman called out as we left and went over to where they were selling food and items being sold that looked like toy tails or ears for children. I chuckled as some kids ran past us with toy ears on them.
Rika and I sat down at a table and she looked happy but something else was on her mind.
"Is something wrong?" I asked Rika and she realized that I noticed she was drifting into her thoughts and gave me a small smile.
"Not really. Just... that woman...." I shook my head.
"I had no idea who that was, and besides, I wouldn't do that. You're more beautiful," I told Rika and she blushed brightly and dug her face into the stuffed animal.
I laughed a little and she looked up and laughed too. This thing, whatever it was around us, was pretty cool. Sort of like a huge carnival almost.... Except no rides. Just booths and food, but that was enough for me to make Rika happy and have her not think about that past. I smiled again, my wounds not hurting for once.
I was happier than I ever had been before with a girl, and I was glad it was Rika. I smiled at her and went to go get some food.

I hope that was okay, Poochy! ^-^;;;
