Ice and I roamed the building looking for his friend Sky. "You're sure she's still her, right Ice?" I asked him. "Of course she is, she wouldn't leave without the hole group." He barked back at me, okay because he was in his human form he didn't bark, more like an annoyed raised voice, but still. My ears twitching with amusement, I fallowed him a little farther. "Hey!! I ..." a voice rang through the air ahead. Ice's ears pricked in interest. "Let's go see what's going on," he said over his shoulder. "No let's find this Sky person, I want to know if I can come with you," I said quickly only to see he was already heading that way. "Hay, Ice," I yelled after him, "Wait for me!!!" I ran after him, my pack with my expensive bow and arrows in it hitting my legs. We came up to a larger group of halfers, I could pick them out because I was used to smelling as a human. "Hay Pierce, who are they," looking beside me I noticed Ice had went to talk to a cow, maybe, I couldn't really tell what kind of animals they were. "Ice, you know who they are?" I called to him as I ran after him. "And you are?" one of the other halfers asked. "I'm a ... I'm Shadow, I'm a wolf halfer," I said suppressing the urge to quote the line "I'm a cowboy" from Bon Jovi's song Wanted Dead or Alive, I wasn't sure that would go over well, especially now that I knew that halfer was a cow. "So, what are you're names?" I asked trying to distract them from my stumbling interdiction.
