I would like to meet them, but my sister ran away as soon as she was released. “Kari, please let us go with them!”
She turned to me, her eyes fiery, and for a second I thought she would blast me with her sword. But it seems like she remembered who I was at the last second.
“Go with them if you want. I’ll stay here.”
I wanted to go greet them, but it’s been so long since I’ve had contact with anyone without my sister around.
“No, I want to stay with you.”
She looked genuinely surprised, but I guess I should expect that. I had been insisting we should meet them.
It’s not like I really want to meet them. It just might help me become more outgoing.
“So, what are we doing now?”
“Sitting, waiting, and seeing if we can leave this place. I would love to get out of this building.”
