What to say?

~Echo~

Shadow moved to the other side of the wall where there were not many people. He took off his bag and began searching through it. I watched curiously as he removed the items. He pulled out a bow; I thought for a minute so he was into archery. It was something I had never tried myself more out of fear than anything. He pulled out the different tips for his arrows. I saw the hunting ones and a nervous feeling rose in my stomach. I ignored it and continued to watch him silently. He pulled out a CD player with some music already inside it. He looked a little relived; I wondered why? It made me a little curious to what kind of music he listened too since I didn't listen to much english music myself. Sastisfied he began to pack away his things.

Suddenly a pain shot up from my hip and down across my leg; I clutched it as it throbbed horribly. Fils de pute! I cursed angrily in my head; I jumped to my feet. Shadow didn't seem to notice until my sudden motion. "What's wrong?" He asked concerningly. I smiled despite the agonizing pain in my side. "I'll be right back I just need to go to the bathroom." I turned and ran; shoving my weight into the door. I threw my black messager bag to the ground and searched through it in a fury, "Oh, merde! Où sont-ils?!" The pain was so horrible I almost burst into tears as I found the tiny bottle. I pulled it from my bag revealing a tiny case of Percodan. My hands shaking as I popped open the case and swallowed two of the pills. It was an extremely effective pain reliever and the only thing strong enough to calm the burning in my mangled hips.

I clutched the counter and looked up into the mirror; the figure looking back was like a complete stranger. My skin was white; the amber eyes accented by dark circles underneath them. I brushed the hair from my face as it stuck with perspiration. For now, the purple burns were hidden beneath the baggy fabric of my pants; my slim white t-shirt covering the ugly marks on my back and side. But, I knew I couldn't hide it forever it was inevitable that Shadow would find out. I threw my head in the sink splashing the cold water on my face trying to ignore the pondering thoughts. I picked up my bag from the floor returning its contents. Thorwing it over my shoulder; I pulled the door open and returned to Shadow who had been standing closer than whee he was. I could see the questions floating in his eyes. What is it she's try so desperately to hide? He probably thought as he stood there. What could I tell him? I tried so desperately to think of a lie.

The only thing I really have to translate is her phrase: "Oh, merde! Où sont-ils?!" which is "Oh Shit, where are they?" Echo in a panic as she looks for the medication
