Everyone but me had been noticed. Not even Kari bothered to mention me—she was too busy mooning over the guy that liked her (yes, I will bug them!)
I finally spoke up. “I’m Claudia!”
“Nice to meet you.” She seemed to be distracted.
“Please stay still.”
Kari had moved to see the progress of the frostbite.
“The frostbite seems to be receding.”
“That’s good.”
Kari sat next to Prince, completely engrossed in their conversation.

This guy is so arrogant! He said so many things that I can’t even repeat! Let’s just say, he think I’d be jealous!
“I know you love me!”
“I love you ‘cause you love me.”
I felt a flicker of satisfaction in me. ‘Prince, back off.’
“I don’t love you!”
“Sure you don’t.”
I felt my heart [ick up the pace. I couldn’t look at him (out of hatred, so she believed), just stared at the fire. I knew we had to keep moving to get to the others.

They really annoy me! I already had enough to do!
First, I had to plan their wedding, and then I had to plan the honeymoon.
But, I have the most difficult couple ever!
“Get back here!”
Kari and Prince came back, albeit reluctantly.
“The wedding is still in the planning stage, and so is the honeymoon.”
“Wedding?!”
“Yes, marriage.”
“Marriage?!”
I sighed as I felt a headache.
“We’re getting married.”
“Shut up! Out! Now!”
The two left quite gleefully, but at least I had peace and quiet to work with.
