Abyss: The title may say it all.

I was telling the truth to Prince when I said I never seen her like that. She seemed so playful, so carefree for once.
She always had her guard up, always was protective of herself. She always stayed alone, never letting many people get close.
Maybe this would be good for her, and maybe she would find someone to love. Maybe she already did. I watched her tease him and him retaliating.
She needed to learn something but for once, she’s lost. She is completely clueless on this, but maybe u could help her out this once.
She’s always been there for me, and now I can finally start to repay her.
I made up my mind as I approached her.

We prattled on about the weather and the status of the way we’re going.
“Kari!”
I turned to see Cloud running up. “Cloud, what do you want?”
“Who’s Cloud?”
‘Oh yeah! He doesn’t know about her nickname…’
“Claudia.”
“Why Cloud?”
‘He’s really lost on this…so I better explain.’ “I’ll tell you later.” ‘Or not.’
She just stared at me with huge eyes.
“Cloud?”
“I have to…”
“You have to?”
She gestured to me to move closer. “I need to give you something.”
Next thing I knew, a book (or pile of books) was in my hand. All were thin, thankfully, and I put each and every one in the backpack I bought (or stole).
Then came the last two books. First, the Victoria Secrets magazine, with lingerie models…and I shoved it in my bag. Lastly, there was a girls’ magazine. Some pages were bookmarked. What she bookmarked made blood rush to my face.
Prince noticed it. “What is it?” He looked (or tried to) at the page.
“Nothing!” I closed it quickly.
What she marked were places that were dubbed romantic and love test!
