~Hana
I changed back as we reached the old hotel. As I stood up right, I felt light headed, and started to fall back. Fai attempted to catch me, I stopped myself and rerighted myself, feeling extremely tired.
"You okay?" he asked kindly.
"Fine!" I snapped at him. The blue eyed boy I had known for most of my rememberable life looked taken back.
"Just asking!" he put his hands up. "Tired?"
"I said, I'm fine!" I shot back. He took a step back, and his smiled stopped for just a second, then was back, as he looked down.
"We should get a room."
"Through 'each' in there, and you have a deal..." I muttered. As I walked away, I heard him sigh. Approaching Sky, I saw a guy with black hair and grey bangs walking away. Just by the way he walked, I knew something was on his mind.
"Key please," I sighed to Sky.
"For you and Fai?" she asked.
"No. Just me." I looked away. I felt her drop the icey piece of metal in my hand. Checking the number, I walked off to where my room would be. Without meaning to, I found myself trailing the cow (I could smell it on him) halfer. Watching him, there was no way I could keep from noticing how he didn't seem to be to happy about being with the group. As he walked over to the lion and placed the little door on his head, I could see how forced the action was.
He reached his room, and I told myself to keep walking, but I couldn't. Out side the door, I stopped, and sighed. A small thump from the other side told me he had sat on the floor. Walking over to the door, I knocked after a minute or so. Hearing the lock click, the door opened, and the boy peered out.
"Um, sorry for intruding, but can I come in?" I asked. He simply nodded, and held it open wider. "Sorry for being sudden, but I'm Hanatsuki. Just call me Hana."
"I'm Pierce," he told me. Pausing for a second, I nodded, commiting the name to memmory.
"Don't get the wrong idea, but I'm closing the door," I smiled and laughed. He raised a questioning eyebrow, but permitted the action. "I saw how you were acting earlier. Not all is well in your world, huh?" Not able to look up, I hid my eyes in the shadows of my hair, and gave a small smile.
"What are you talking about?" he asked, taken back.
"Hm. You can't hide from someone who knows how to do something better than you do." I looked up, giving a smile, but only half heartedly. I didn't have enough energy to hide the saddness in my eyes. "When you learn to do it, noting when someone else is 'hiding' is nothing." He was silent, but still didn't seem to understand what I ment. "Your... lonely." I finally stated.
