~Jake
When I had traveled on the bear's back, it made me think things. How messed up my life was, what I had done it in, and how bad it was. Well, I had problems. You expect much from a lion?
Once we had gotten to the resort thing, Pierce had put a door on my head with a slight amusement on my head. It made me think of how lonely he was now. Him and I, in ways, were very similar, but I hadn't seen him until at the moment when he had put the door on my head. Losing a loved one hurt. I would know.
Zar quickly dropped me off at the couch before he headed upstairs to his room after getting a key, and I just slowly made myself sit up. I knew Kasumi was enjoying this as she was sitting on the couch across from me and the table in front. She must be happy I've gotten the crap beaten out of me and seeing me weak like this. Knowing her, she would take care of the advantage, but instead, she just ignored my glare and got up with her buddy that was wrapping my leg earlier and walked over to Sky, got a few keys, and then went up.
Slowly, everybody started to dissipate, even the leopard and his girlfriend and up to their room. Why should it be my problem if his weakness was the girl? Couldn't blame. I used to be like that, but now, I'm not. Being in the midst of lions and being the runt of the litter does something to you.
I put my hair up in a ponytail and then slid off my shirt with a few winces involved and looked at the hanging shoulder that was giving immense pain and bleeding through the bandage. Grabbing my bandages out with my good arm and hand, I took off the old bandage and started to re-wrap it. It was a pain in the ass, but what do you expect?
Once I got that done, I slid my shirt back on and then looked at my leg. Figuring since it wasn't hurting as much as it was before, I was able to pop my knee and thigh bone back into place. The ligaments were torn, but what was I to do about that? I wasn't a doctor.
Wrapping my leg up once more, I slipped off my shoes and laid across the couch and propped my leg and head up with a few pillows laying around. It was nice being alone... but it does have its disadvantages... like remembering the people you murdered and how your dead parents that you murdered yourself can't do anything about it. I was a loner, and there was no denying it.
I felt myself slowly drifting off into sleep as I thought I smelled something weird, but knew it was just my imagination.

Yep, he thinks about his past a lot, and that's Jake's past!
I hope it was okay, Poochy, that I included Moon and Rika getting a room together ^_^;;;;
