Zero and Kiyoko had gone on ahead to the hot tubs when Ariel caught sight of Ben. The devilish smile that played on her lips made me nervous. I hoped she wouldn't do anything stupid. She waved to Zero, giving him a light kiss on the cheek. I wondered if that was to show Kiyoko that he was hers. I looked away, blushing, before we walked down the hall.
Ben must not have heard us approaching, but he seemed to be eavesdropping on whoever's room that he was leaning his ear up against. Ariel smirked and smacked him on the back of his head, not too hard I hoped!
"Don't you know it's rude to eavesdrop?" Ariel asked him with a teasing tone. She had her hand on her hip looking at him with a sly smile. It was then that I noticed how much taller she was than I.
"Well yeah but it was interesting. Shiori is back. She staying with them." Ben answered with a small chuckle.
"Whoa really?" Ariel said, interested.
Ben nodded, "But who cares about that right now, lets go down to the hot tubs!" He pointed his head down the hall, as if wanting to get us moving.
"Yeah!" I said enthusiastically. Then blushed, embarassed at my outburst, and looked away. I must have sounded like a crazy idiot. I wanted to smack myself for my hyperness. Thankfully, no one said anything about it, and we began the trek to the hot tubs.
Ariel and I took off our T-shirts and shorts, revealing our swimwear underneath. She waved to Zero who was already in the water with Kiyoko. She nudged me towards Ben before she hurried over to the two of them. I smiled shyly, knowing my face was beat red. I felt so exposed standing there in my bikini, so I headed over to the water and got in, careful not to slip. Ben joined me, and I wondered what was going through his head, as he was being unusually quiet.
