"Why are we here anyways?" I asked trying not to look down below me.
"I was about to be murdered by a girl in the group, and you seemed like you need a way out. So, I grabbed you and ran. did you hear a girl shouting 'get back here Mutt!'?? Yeah, she kinda wants me dead." He laugh, I looked at him shocked." Why does she want to kill you?!" I asked
"Oh! Yeah, I'm not exactly sure why. I think its because of......" He gets cut off by a loud noise. I look around me to try and locate the sound.
"Get all the dogs! All of them! don't leave a single one!" I hear a female voice shout angrily
"Oh crud!" I heard him whisper
"We are under attack!" Jethro says and gets off the branch
"Attack?!" I say my eyes widened.
"yeah, but they only want dogs, so you should be safe. I need to go help, you can either come with or stay here." I say back.
"I'll go" I muttered "wait but your a dog!" I say
"Dude, I think I know that. I guarantee that they won't stop 'til they have all the canines. Meaning they'll have to take me." Jethro says I was about to say something but he stops me.
"Hey, I didn't say I wasn't going down without a fight. If they want me, they'll have to catch me." He laughs and motions for me to come down I look at him and look down and close my eyes,
"i guess you're not to fond of heights." He said
"You think?" I muttered.
"Ren, its okay. Grab my hand and keep you're eyes closed. We'll get you down, okay?" I reach down
And grab his hand and close my eyes again, I shouldn't have gonetten on the tree in the first place, I thought.
"Dude" I heard him say "you're gonna need to let go of the branch" he said I look at my other hand
And I akwardly let go of it I still had my eyes closed when I felt him yank my arm. "Argh!" I scream as I was falling down one what I was trying to avoid lucky I landed in the snow.
"So...tha...kinda worked?not really" he said as he stood up "ready to go?" Jetro said jogging. I shake my head and chuckle lightly.
