I found myself in a truck going who knows where when a certain mutt appears.
‘Is that who I think it is?’
The mutt was unconscious so I had no way to talk to him.
‘Damn. Prince better be trying to find me.’
I know that it was too much to expect, but it was nice to hope. Anyway, I’m sure Claudia would kick his butt to make sure he was searching—if there was one thing I learned recently, it was that she could be persistent.

I ran down a hall, following Prince when we hit a dead end.
“YOU IDIOT!” All the stress of losing Kari, the stress of trying to keep them together, made her snap, causing her to become a wreck.
No matter what Prince thinks, I know she’s long gone.
We promised to be there for each other, but she let herself get captured and left me alone with the most dense and oblivious guy ever!
‘You owe me big time!’ I was sure she would agree with me.
The next thing I knew, I ran into a dog…I believe.
