Yay! Second post! I said I'd post a response to my last post, so here it is--

[Ren]
Ren, the shark-halfer, and Paloma, a dog-halfer, watched in vain as the black van that held their friend, Jethro, captive backed out of the courtyard, rounded a corner, and drove off into the unkown.
The creamy-white whippet-collie bitch gave Ren, a remorseful, apologetic before she shot across the snowy hotel courtyard and into the depths of the resort. A swarm of armed hunters followed her into a green, domed building and their footfall echoed throughout the complex as well as booming sounds that sounded suspiciously like gunshots.
Ren was both confused and stunned until he realized that she had abandoned him; then he was ticked off. Why did she do that? Ren thought angrily. He didn’t get too much time to think about it because five hunters—who were intent on avenging the comrades Ren had totally powned earlier—were surrounding him and pulling sharp silver knives from their sheathes.
Dark, evil human eyes glinted dangerously as they taunted and threatened the shark-halfer with violence and death.
Roaring blasts echoed off the frosted concrete walls as bullets flew past Ren, who dodged them, and crashed through the ice. Ren spotted a door—which he presumed lead to the hotel rooms—and made a dash for it. Ren fiddled with the knob for a stressful heartbeat before he yanked the door open and slammed it in the ugly face of a hunter twice his size.
Ren stormed down the halls, pushing anyone in his way and making split-second decisions to turn in an attempt to lose the hunters that were hot on his trail.
The resort was full of beautiful, multi-cultural themed buildings connected by glass-walled (specially installed for this time of year) passage ways.
Ren had gone in circles around the elaborately-designed, Asian-themed, figure eight shaped building; slipping curt glances at the Chinese porcelain dolls, curvaceous Korean calligraphy, and Japanese 1000 origami cranes put into detailed landscapes. One painting of a shepherd and his black and tan dog in the special “Russia Room” reminded Ren of Jethro. I hope he’s okay. . .he thought hopefully.
Ren grimaced at the long hallway before him that led to the Europe complex before briskly sprinting past the brightly colored European flags that adorned the walls. There was a fork in the end, he decided to go left. Unfortunately, as he turned the corner, Ren saw that a group of flirtatious teenage girls in posh outfits were talking to an older guy with black hair that was gelled back and slim Armani sunglasses that framed his narrow, sienna-skinned face. They definitely had money, and they definitely were not going to move for Ren.
“Excuse me,” Ren said politely. He didn’t want to seem too suspicious, though there was an edge of hurriedness to his voice.
They stopped talking and looked down their noses at Ren, criticizing his every feature.
A blonde girl spoke first, “Why should we?”
Just move! I wanted say, but that might create some problems. As the thundering of hunters’ boots grew closer, my heart raced in fear, “Please, I’m really in a hurry.”
“Ugh! How rude,” a brunette with a white, fur-collared coat snorted.
Ren could hear the hunters approaching just a few yards away, and tried to push past the stuck-up group, but the black-haired guy shoved him back a few feet.
“Hey! You ain’t supposed to push girls, what the hell is your problem?” he growled.
The hunters abruptly came to a stop at the fork and Ren whipped his head around to see them look right, then left. Pairs of aggressive green, blue, and brown eyes met his and he relentlessly pushed through the snobby group, who didn’t hesitate to call out profanities as he turned right and went through a door that said “EMPLOYEES ONLY.”
Ren ran through a maintenance room with water pipes, thermostats, chlorine, and other potentially dangerous chemicals until he found a door on the other end and opened it up.
A rush of humidity warmed Ren’s face, the dark green painted walls and piranha-toothed tribal masks made it clear that he had entered South America. Ren jogged to the end of one hall, then another, This place goes on forever!, He thought with irritation.
A girl’s voice echoed form another green hallway, “YOU IDIOT!”
Ren followed the sound and heard a loud thump before he rounded a corner and saw a 10 year-old girl (at least she looked 10) with mahogany hair in pig-tails and a red-headed, fox-eared, 17 year-old (he looked 17) boy staring down in surprise at Paloma, who was panting heavily and letting her tongue loll out.
Paloma’s ears pricked up as her orange-eyed gaze traveled from Ren to Claudia and—even though she was in dog form—they understood her when she barked, “Pool!”
. . .
{Paloma}
Paloma had been bounding down the seemingly endless halls, passing artifacts, decorations, and sculptures from nearly every world culture, while trying to stay ahead of the hunters who ruthlessly pursued her, regardless of how long or how fast she ran.
A loud rumbling filled her ears and the scent of chlorine stung her nose as the hall widened into a huge dome that looked like a tropical paradise, instead of a hotel on a snowy mountain. Palms, mango trees, papaya trees, bird-of-paradise, and other tropical plants stood strong under the sunlight-mimicking bulbs at the top of the dome, which was painted like a perfect azure sky with fluffy clouds floating about. The rumbling came from multiple waterfalls that cascaded from black stones that looked convincingly like lava rock. Clear, chlorinated water accumulated in sapphire-tiled pools of varying degrees of depth and swirled through the system of inter-connected ponds in the swimming area. The place was deserted, but the lone towels and fruity drinks near the lounge chairs made it look like people had just up and left—maybe because of the commotion the hunter-halfer fights were causing.
BANG! A badly aimed bullet ricocheted off the stone and shot the water a few feet away from Paloma, she cantered out of the tropical dome and zig-zagged through green hallways.
A familiar scent of otter attracted Paloma’s interest and she started to follow it wherever it went.
A female voice yelled, “YOU IDIOT!” and Paloma accidentally bumped into a girl exiting the hall Paloma was about to go into.
The young girl had brown hair in pigtails and she looked at the dog-halfer with brilliant cerulean eyes—she smelled of otter oddly enough. There was an older, red-headed, fox-eared boy with the girl too, but he looked like he could be almost twice her age. They’re both halfers! Paloma realized as one of the older boy’s ears twitched as he stared down at the skinny dog.
The sound of footsteps came around the color and Paloma looked up in surprise to Ren. Paloma pricked her ears up and looked between the otter-smelling girl and Ren, and an idea came.
“Pool!” she barked.
Confusion rolled off of them and Paloma was worried that maybe they hadn’t understood her. She circled once excitedly and barked again, “Pool!”
“Pool what?!” the otter-smelling girl said.
Paloma was overjoyed, they understood! She thought. Paloma didn’t backtrack, but instead lead the three halfers down a different hall, which, to her immense relief, led back to tropical dome.
The other halfers looked around them in amazement at the vibrant dome.
“Lure them into the pool,” Paloma explained, “Ren, you’re a shark, attack them in the water. Otter girl--,” she flicked an ear at the little girl, who didn’t look too happy to be called that.
“It’s Claudia,” she said.
“Okay Claudia, you’re an otter, you swim! Attack them with Ren!” Paloma suggested.
Ren wasn’t very happy with Paloma at the moment, plus he was used to salt water, not fresh or chlorinated water. Hand-to-hand combat would be better, he thought.
The thundering of swarms of hunters filled the dome as they streamed in from all sides. The fox-halfer attacked a group of hunters that tried to take him down, snarls ripped from his throat as he punched and kicked and powned. Ren was by his side, doing an equally astounding amount of damage to the hunter hordes. Claudia flipped and kicked in mid-air, doing incredibly complicated moves and twists in seconds.
It wasn’t quite what Paloma had planned, but she watched in marveled at their bravery and awed at their teamwork.
Paloma slipped under a purple-flowered plant and continued to ogle at their skills.
The entire dome was filled with the sounds of combat, dozens of humans were killed or injured in a matter of minutes. A raw and frightening scent coiled tightly within the dome as blood spilled on the floor and the pool clouded a vile shade of red.

If I missed anyone, please tell me. It's so late I can't think straight anymore @.@
I hope I got everybody's OC right, shoot me if I didn't. . .
Oh my God it's 2:30 a.m. I am going to kill myself for CF *dies*
Anyway, that was a pretty random ending, so if you didn't like it and want it changed, tell me. At least this post wasn't nearly as long as the last.
There was a lot of 3rd person POV, which, I hope was a good thing. Do you prefer 3rd or 1st person POV? I used to prefer 1st, but I've been experimenting and there's pros and cons to both, so I don't really know anymore.
A random side note: I was at the beach all day which was the main reason I'm doing this so late.
Another reason I didn't get this out till late: I messed up the story line when I was writing! I mixed up info from the posts so that instead of the story going like--
Jethro chased by Kari> Jethro and Ren go> Kari captured by Vana> Ren and Jethro talk in a tree> Paloma appears> Jethro is captured> Paloma runs> Ren also runs> Claudia, Paloma, Prince, and Ren meet together, it went like--
Jethro chased by Kari> Hunters attack> Kari captured by hunters> Ren and Jethro talk in a tree> Paloma appears> Jethro is captured> Paloma runs> Ren also runs> Ren meets Kari as he is running up the stairs> Kari is captured> Claudia, Paloma, Prince, and Ren meet together. . .
Which could only mean one of three things--
a) I have suddenly siezed CF and can do whatever I want with the posts.
b) Ren crossed a wormhole in the time-space continuum, which not only altered the future becuase he was leaving his own universe, but he also was at the exact same spot as his past self on the stairs but somehow talking to Kari which was different from the past but felt like the future to him, and again crossed a wormhole as he was on the stairs (which he didn't notice?) which put him back slightly ahead of the time in his original universe and continued the story but with slight altercations, kind of like in Donnie Darko 0.0
c) I'm stupid
If you guessed (c), you are correct--unless Ren has amazing time travel powers.
Oh my God, it's 3:00 a.m., good night everybody.
